Ok so the test results for my washed f13 are ready. So I'll post pics of a screen shot for you all to see. And everything on there is mine. So in chronological order here's the results.

In December it tested at
21.12% thc (un washed)
In February it tested at
20.00% thc (unwashed)

And the washed just tested at

So very Lil difference

Dutty you kill it sir.

This thread makes me excited, gonna calm down and smoke some ganja now

Had little doubt about the washing but its funny to think of all the emphatic and fundamentalist disagreement I've heard from "experienced" growers.

I'm always like "do you know how to make hash without ice or solvents?"

"Well theres no ice or solvents in our wash so I don't really see how we are gonna lose any trichomes"

They immediately shut up, clearly and completely UNconvinced lol.

id trade that 1% thc for a clear white smoke and a tasty bud any day of the week :thumb:

nice information thanks mate, cheers.

Yup. That's why I paid to run it again even though I'm dropping the genetic. It looks like we are going recreational so my 51 genetics will be no more I need to pick roughly 5 to work with. Only have 3 for sure.

1.chocolate fondue
2. Jillybean
3. Dutch treat.

I was giving suggestions, realized who I was talking to, deleted it all to ask, "well you have about 48 other strains on hand to choose from not to mention your vast experience, so what are some of the contenders for those final 2 spots??!"

Nice!! I read somewhere that doc said he'd never smoke bud that wasn't washed, maybe it was this thread.

Well, I'm with him!! Great to see some numbers behind it, thanks for doing that DP.

I'm convinced my latest batch dried faster and better due to this, I'll do this every time I harvest.

Case closed, wash on with your bad self ;)

I'll put this out there here, and maybe start a thread if there's enough interest.

How about a 420 :420: gathering at the cup in Seattle this year, September 5&6???

Hey DP thanks for doing a washed and unwashed test of the same plants :thumb:
That settles that huh?

It's hard to say. There was a royal screw up at the lab. I don't want to revisit it, but it's back some ways in one of my journals. I got a report that said 41%......turned out that was mistakenly for a concentrate.....then I got a test that showed 17.2%. How do I know that's the right one? I dunno?

So, I'll get it tested very soon and we'll figure out what's what. I might have the opportunity to test it alongside an organic one.

so high brix isn't organic? i always thought of it as organic plus.

Just a little chilean nitrates?

To me high brix is organic comparatively so I guess it's relative

But it is hard to let my plants free range. Lol.

No but in all serious there truly is to many varying standards to currently set an across the board standard

I would however say a true Los like Sweetsues is fairly close but so is docs so once again this discussion is all open to so many variables and different people's own perspective this is one discussion that may just be open to interpretations
