Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

OK thanks. I got it.

Mag-Pro® 2-15-4 is a concentrated blossom booster designed to help plants initiate flowering and develop large, vibrant, aromatic blooms.

  • Mag-Pro provides high levels of phosphorus, magnesium, and sulfur, to pack on enormous weight during the flowering cycle, while simultaneously enhancing color, resin production, fragrance and flavor in your valuable flowers.
  • The nutrients in Mag-Pro are immediately available, giving your plants the ability to access the nutrients they need at the critical times of flower formation to ensure massive growth and enhanced flavor and aroma through increased production of essential oils, terpenes, and flavanoids.
  • Growers using reverse osmosis, rain or deionized water will benefit from the addition of Mag-Pro.
  • Use Mag-Pro instead of a calcium/magnesium supplement because there is ample calcium in all complete Dyna-Gro nutrient formulas and those supplements do not have the sulfur, phosphorus and potassium found in Mag-Pro.
  • Mag-Pro is THE blossom booster for growers looking to maximize the beauty and value of their crop.

So it seems the Bloom would have enough Ca in it, but maybe lacking in Mg. Increase the Bloom!!

Nice sleuthing, Columbo, I got distracted and you're already onto the next investigation! Actually, it's really nice to follow the 'line of questioning' and the banter, too.

:ciao: Hi Boo

I watched an episode of Columbo last night for the first time in years! Just one of the reasons I wasn't here this weekend. :cheesygrinsmiley:
One of my favorites was with William Shatner, who portrayed an actor in the episode, and then went on to help Columbo convict himself of murder.

Will do. We’ll se how long it takes her to die! BRB. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Here's a little update on the ULH. Tomorrow she will be 2 weeks old.

Looks like she is beginning her 4th node? :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was hoping to top or train her this time. She’s a long growing auto (90 - 95 days!) And I believe she is also supposed to be a little bigger than most (supposedly...). What do you think about that? If I topped her I could also try to clone her..... :high-five:
Topping is fine and you want to do it around day 21. As I mentioned above, if I have 5 or 6 nodes by then I know the plant can handle a topping. It's almost a sure bet that your plant will recover before she starts to flower if that's the case.
Don't top lower than the fourth node and remove everything under the third. That's the start of a quad, but you don't have to train it that way.
If an auto is a slow grower, less than 5 nodes, don't top them. Let them grow naturally as they'll most likely start to flower not long after.
That makes sense. If I’m understanding correctly then I should double her nutes? :meatballs:
Well I wouldn't go more than a tsp for now so you can see how she responds. Then increase to 1.5 tsp if she didn't die.

EDIT: Leave a good length of stem when topping so the legs don't snap later in the grow from the weight of your colas. I tend to go right under the leaves which leaves as much stem as possible.
