Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

First round:

I think I need to do the same with all the individual stalks now?

I need to figure out what I'm going to do for Fri/Sat while we are gone. It's been the usual 99-plus degrees with dripping humidity and is supposed to continue through Friday and then cool down to the mid 80s. I've already got some bud rot going on so I'm hesitant to load them up - given they are taking 1-2 gallons a day it would likely be difficult anyway. I guess I'll just water them tomorrow morning and hope for the best. :/

Good morning, BooWho...
Could you move them to a shady spot while you're gone?
Like under those trees in the background?
If they do run out of water, they'll last a lot longer in the shade, even if it's 90f out...

Plastic milk jugs with small holes in the bottom will leak water out faster or slower depending on how tightly the lid is screwed on
What a great tip! Thanks Shed!

My dealer (aka mom) gave me these gloves for my special plants. I didn't have the heart to say no. Turns out they were super handy trimming the Cindy beast, and I felt a little like Katheryn Hepburn while doing it! Lol.

I think she's had enough for the day. She definitely is going to be losing more leaves so I'm gonna see what she looks like on Sunday and go from there.

And here is the new and likely permanent spot for my pretty little Cindy. There used to be a green house in this spot. It faces East so she will get the sunrise and likely 4-5 hours of full sun and then shade for the rest of the day.

Finally, the seed count continues to climb. Now that I'm a "breeder" let me know if someone wants a stealth delivery!

Happy Monday all! We had a lovely weekend with our son and daughter. I got to sit in the fire engine, play with the siren and lights, and also shoot water out of a big fire hose! What more could a girl ask for? Lol. While we were gone there were large storms in the area which caused power outages from Friday evening until Sunday morning. Fortunately it was cooler and rained most of the day on Saturday (although we really could have done without more rain). Sunday was glorious with no suffocating humidity and in the low 80s. The outdoor girls look pretty good and the fungus seems to be slowing on big mama. The two little autos in the tent are wilty. The Dreamberry is more so. The lights were out in the tent during the outage but I had left it open because it was so hot on Friday. She was also light so I fed her....and may have effed up by giving the full gallon dosage of SNS 209 vice a half gallon. I also have her in a smart pot and have noticed that the doesn’t dry as quickly as the Lemon Haze. Anyhow, they are both a little witty, Dreamberry a little more. We shall see how it pans out. Today it is currently 65 degrees with rain all day long. Hope everyone had a good weekend and is ready for September!

Love your journal Boo! Very interesting. You've had just about every issue imaginable and have come through it all like a champ! Started reading your journal because I have some C99 on order and glad I did. Looking forward to a smoke report when ready. :peace:  :hookah:
Hi there. Thanks so much for reading my journal! You are correct about the issues - whew! I’m still holding my breath until they cross the finish line. I definitely need to go back thru my journal when this grow is finally done and capture a little “toolbox” of every little thing that went awry and the advice I got that helped turn it around. Plus so much more! Despite the issues inside and outside of the tent, the Cindys have been very hardy for me. They have also been beautiful plants in flower. They smell earthy and sweet with a slight hint of skunk. I ended up getting a little over 5 oz from the top half of the two tent plants, with another .5 in very nice larf. Plus a few seeds! I will definitely try growing them again. Thanks again for reading my journal!
