Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

Bingo - thank you Shed. That timing on this leaf damage did not appear to me to coincide with a previous dose of the liquid silica. The plants are robust enough so I discontinued silica anyway on the hempy crew. It’s been straight MC no other fluff but a 2.5 mil dose of MSA on April 12th & another 2.5 mil on April 26th, best I recall leaf damage started weekend of May 7th. New growth looks great, the damaged leaves do not appear to be getting progressively worse.

Farside ran cal-mag with his potassium silicate for the N in it, to balance the N and the K to the ratio he likes. If there were no K in his silica he wouldn't have added the cal-mag.

@013 how many ml/gallon of the Alchemist Stout MSA are you running? I run 15ml/gallon.

it's similar to what i'm doing, adding in cal-mag to balance the BE out.

I've lost track of what you're doing with all the mods to what you're feeding these plants! Just drag them over the finish line and trim off the damage.

shit i have too.

it's just MC, BE, and cal-mag. i've always tried to run straight up simple. the BE and cal-mag are new to this run. they are probably gonna be more permanent moving forward.

i used to do more convoluted mixes when i ran GH or AN.

LOL! Not because of how the leaves look, that's for sure.

As long as the buds are solid, that's all we care about!

yeah i never really grew them for the leaves lol. some of my best outdoor stuff looked way more tragic than my current run when i lived in the mountains. real good weed though .. :cheesygrinsmiley:

the gorillas are really ticking me off this run. they look great but i'm just not getting amber at all.

Not to mention the different phenos! Who knows which want what?

well out door they wanted fish guts. i used to hike a few klicks in to the forest with a plant, a shovel, and a five gallon pail of fish guts. had a few interesting conversations with the odd bear when i did guerilla grow.

The hempy crew also had a few silica doses way back in March and seemed to do fine at 2.5 mil per gallon, no leaf symptoms appeared so I thought it was all groovy. Yeah I’m too timid to stack a bunch of nute products together. Sure I can follow a FF feeding schedule but I usually back off the dosage a tick to play it safe. In my book it’s one thing to slow cook some crap into the soil but mixing bottled nutes kinda scares the crap out of me

He probably thought you were odd as well!

i never had to shoot at one. a friend used to lend me his gun. i did toss a few bear bangers on occasion though.
nothing like trying to explain a bucket of fish guts a plant and a weapon to the mounties... :p

i'd really like to know what is causing the taco leaves. has it been getting better 013 ?

Hmmm, guess it’s not a good idea to pack heat while doing a guerrilla grow but I like to be carrying some iron when I cross over from the woods into the deep forest.

the damage is still there but does not appear to be spreading

the damaged stuff won't get better but if the new stuff comes in healthy you're good to go.

Apologies for hosing up your thread but I did want to get your eagle eyes on this problem. I feel much better since it does not seem to be spreading to the other nodes

no worries. that's what a thread is for. really no bother at all.

you must have been hot in temp or nutes at some point. may never know for sure.

Im digging this new LOS crew in 30 gallon fabric pots jacked up with nematodes and hypoaspis miles predator mites. The fungus gnats land for a second, see the swarms of predators then taxi down the runway only to crash and burn at the No Pest Strip. Take that you flying fuggers!

Temps have been good but I must have dropped the ball somewhere. I try to be self sufficient yet sometimes hit the wall. Sincerely appreciate all the support guys!

Yah i am getting into los now actually finally. Wanted to be there 3 years ago but just followed my clown because the first batch of soil i mixed up was less than perfect. Still running in hempy until i get everything together. Fungus gnats must die.:bongrip:

i wanna do closed loop organics. it's a pipe dream right now. a bunch of mmj folk i been hooked up local are showing it doable. many folk on the board are moving to it as well.

ftr you can get fungus gnats in hempy. been there. t-shrt. they are stupid easy to kill if you do though. :cheesygrinsmiley:
ask if you need.

Never had a problem with the lil buggers in straight perlite but if i did would waste them quick with diacotamous and or peroxide. Going into Los soon but not worried with my bottle of @Sierra Natural Science juice too disrupt their life cycle.
