Birdie's Return To Life

No reason to grow autos in 12/12 unless you only have one tent and you didn't time things well :).

And who are u referring to?! :D

Instead of having my coffee when I woke up, I went digging in the closets and found the frost guard thing... Hooked it up and now I'm drinking morning coffee :)

That's great! Eggsacktly what u were looking for. :thumb:

I agree keeping autos on a longer schedule through flower, but only because that's the only thing I have read. I have 4 PE autos going and one flipped and three never really did, all from Fastbuds. Perhaps they were photos, but I had to run my plants at 12/12 to get them all into flower around the same time.

I guess I can only imagine what would have happened at 18/6 or 20/4

I have check the heater and light temperature all day. It is a steady 19 Celcius in the growing cabinet.
Time to rase it a notch, I'm aming for 22 degrees Celcius.
Figure I will try a 20/4 on her by manually closing light until timer gets here.
Went to check delivery status....
MARCH 13TH!!!!!
Jezzzz...

I've had purchases from Asia take 3 months. They have a lot of holidays and they usually shut down for them. Chinese New year is in 9 days (year of the pig) and many places close down for at least a week for celebration.Plus the sheer volume of orders that come out of Asia has to take awhile.

It doesn't stop you from being inconvenienced unfortunately.

The other items says a month.. Only the timer is longer...
I'm currently enjoying day of the pig. Bath robes, ganja and video games! With the occasional break for food of course :)
You deserve it Prof :) enjoy!
I can send a timer...what type of outlet/voltage do you need?
Sweet of you :hugs:
Well, I rather speak in PM about it if you don't mind :)

I been vegging under 24/7 for longer than I can remember... Least even when I did run 18/8 I had the doors to the tent open to keep temps down... Ofcourse when in mother nature,,, I do as she dictates.......
Plants can be real forgiving to all light regiments while in veg...
Autos can be different I guess.. i believe any plant in flower need rest at 'night' ...
But temps are the reason I run 24/7 here in the office.... Cold ass concrete floors creep into all wet dirt......
Hi norcali :hugs:
This is a Photo fem white widow and I too believe that later in veg, towards bloom, she is going to need a 18/6 light.
In veg it doesn't matter, like Norcali said. As long as you need the warmth you can run 24/0 without fear. Once you have a tent you can do more temp control and by the time you flip the weather will be getting warmer by the day!
Well, I set up the heating unit in the grow cabinet (metal and glass) until tent arrives, with a thermometer to see what temps I have with lights on.
Flipping is long time away :) and yes, hopefully weather is warmer in March :)

A plant, do need a night time later on, an auto, I would grow on 20/4 or 18/6 depending on strength of light.
That is what's good with an auto, you don't flip them.

I veg everything under 24/0, also, just like NCW, and I grow all photos. MMJ does not need a "night time" during veg - even photo's. As was previously said, the only negative result from 24/0 is a higher electric bill!
