You can run that light from seedlings and keep it 40-50cm above the canopy.

I believe it is too cold for them out under a cfl only so I spent half the day fixing a temp set up in a glas greenhouse, with some sticks and duct tape.
Still waiting for my timer and thermo/humidity meter to arrive...

Nooooo it is a small indoor green house/cabinet, my bad of not explaining properly
Outside is - 15 Celsius, they wouldn't last a minute.

I have it set to kick on at 22c when lights go out, temps fluctuate about 6c . But I’m growing in a basement of an old farmhouse

How cold does it get when you don't have any lights on? The plant needs the dark period to recoup and gather strength like we do with our sleep. I have set my veg light to 18h light and 6h darkness. But I don't know how much futher you can go before the plant suffers from it if it even does. Never tried.... think I went 24h on one of the first autos I ran.

Find out how cold it gets if you turn the light off. 18C to 20C shouldn't affect the growth too much in the dark period. Think a normal summer night....
