Birdie's Return To Life

Good morning everyone :green_heart:
I woke up and as I always do, first stop the grow cabinet...

For two days I had some serious chats with the OG seed. I didn't give up on her, she was under the light with ww and sprayed with water when dry.
This morning....
I saw the seed shell of OG kush above soil

Pics will come later, when I see actual leaves growing as well.
She got misted so I will wait until helmet falls off

I pulled of the helmet after spraying a few times, membrane is still on though.
Is it enough just to drop a little water on her so she cracks it herself?

You can mist the membrane and she'll probably lose it herself, but once moist, if you wish, you can GENTLY pull it off with a toothpick. If it starts giving ANY resistance, STOP, mist it some more, wait a few minutes and try again. Repeat if necessary.

FYI...I usually give my seeds 2 weeks to show. It's more important what's happening below grownd, at this stage. Also, just by looking at the seedling, I'm guessing she may have got spun around a little. ;)
 
She'll was stuck on and I dripped water several times and gently peeled it off.
If I see resistance, I stop. Shell came off and let the membrane on the leaves.
 
Hooray!!! Fantastic news! Welcome little OG! I had the same thing happen with mine. I waited to see if she could get through the membrane herself, after a while I used my tweezers to make a little slice where I could see there was no leaf and just membrane, so she could at least open up and get some sun. You’re much better at being patient than I am though. Congrats Birdie! :hugs:

:thanks:I decided it was time to take off the membrane, so wet it twice with a little wait in between and off it went :)

My neighbour gave it to me, it is broken, but cheaply fixable since I will do the repairs on my own.... Thank God for you tube:laugh:
Basically I paid for the new tyres on them only :)
