01/05/18 how is it already the 5th?
Transplanted 6 clones from the bubble cloner to solo cups last night, then under the cfl for the night. Those clones and the peat clones in the mother tent were fed 4mL per gallon of magnifical, and 5ml/g each of velo kelp and nature's candy! Ppm came out to roughly 330 and ph around 5.6, I actually left it like that to see what would happen-im not supposed to have to ph these nutes so well see!
There's a few pics from last night!
God I love hydro, the next round of hydro clones will be more impressive, I promise! All these clones were taken from this tent at week 3 of flower, but I took really small crappy cuts lol for the next round I have a mother in my other journal just waiting to fill a tent!
Here's the plants the clones were working with are from
They are all crazy! Hopefully they grow into true monsters for us!
Once the solo cups dry out, well probably select our 16 cuttings and gettem planted in the veg tent! Still a couple contenders building roots in hydro so time will tell what we end up running!
Super exciting! Res will get changed today and the clones we put into cups will get moved under the viparspectra tonight!

01 06 18 Update!
Ok so as the last update says, the res got changed out last night, same formula as before!
Hydro clones!
Starting to show some yellow, well givem a few more days to get those roots to water, and then scrap the weaklings!
Peat clones- transplants are under cfl still-will go under led for last 4 hours of light today and then start tomorrow under the vipar spectra!
Looking pretty happy still :3 eat up little babes!
And the ones in the tent are doing great!
I think we have a good run here! I'll end up running 15 plants, instead of 16, to make sure I have space in the grow tent for a humidifier-environmental controls must be in place to make this successful so I'll give up a spot on the floor to help the other 15 get to potential as opposed to running 16 and weighing them down with shit environment lol
Today well move clones under the led, I guess we'll wait a day or two to transplant the last of the hydro clones and then select our plants once they are all in!
Other than that I guess it's just a waiting game! I've got everything ready and waiting for the plants, hopefully within 2 weeks well have our 3x3 full of happy clones!
That's it for now! I'm gunna keep researching DWC systems today, and maybe a couple other things .

Only shitty thing is the trays I got don't actually fit in there properly so we're using the soft flood tray until I can get individual saucers under them

Yea so the plan is to veg these in that tent and then move them into a 4x4 so there will be 8 inches extra in width and length, and a more efficient light(only pulls 400w like the lights in the other journal)!
That way I can fill this canopy around 90% and then flip and have tons of room for stretch!
I'm kind of counting veg from the day I transplant from solo cups into the big pots, just for my own timing and rotation, but the answer is yes. I hope to get a 4 week veg so that we get a nice strong root system, but honestly managing height will be my biggest problem. I may go longer too, just to keep it in sync with flower times.
You know how low I kept my girls last round, and even then, my lights are almost strapped to the top of my tent :S
So ultimately it comes down to if these girls will limbo for daddy or not XD I think if I can gettem to around 16 inches and mostly covering the pots at that point and then flip, we could get some pretty nice yields under these leds! Especially because were able to cut our veg down so much :3
