A little batch from last runs white widow trim. Do any of you make oil? Supposedly this Big Foot strain is extra juicy so I am hoping for some good returns! I seem to like adding a dab to the bud in the ol vaporizer, works awesome!
It can be a bit messy and stinky but if you have a plan it's quite easy, and not all that messy lol... Great way to make use of trim or fluffy buds, or even really nice buds if you wanted I suppose!I am planning on making oil from Some of the sugar leafs when my girl outside is ready. Never tried it so that Will be interesting
Nice! I would love to have a press too, maybe someday!i love oils and hash's i intend to purchase a rosin press soon much faster cleaner safer than extracting with ipa/butaine etc, and they are fairly cheap now days budget one around 200 then 400 upwards for better ones that should be fun

Not at all, happy to have you... Yes everything is going along really nicely at the moment lol... The girls really seem to be liking the MH light and /or are starting to get some decent roots going on. Dropped the light down to about 16 inches yesterday, still dialed down to 200w. Do you guys think they could use more light or is that plenty at this stage? It goes to 300 and 400w also but it's seems like it could be a case of diminishing returns as electricity is almost 15c kw/h here. I will definitely be cranking it up as they get bigger though!
Ya I see you can get kits to make one out of a hydraulic shop press. I have a large bench mounted vise I could rig up probably but not sure how many psi it could produce. I wouldn't put my finger in it though.
If they're liking the light then I'd just leave it but if u want u could always adjust it a bit at a time just to see if they like a bit more or less. Just monitor it closely.
Oops decided to go to work this morning and forgot to put the girls to bed! I haven't bothered setting up the timer yet I have been doing it manually but I will be setting it up tonight! I guess it won't hurt them to go a night without sleep at this age? Probably best to just keep lights on til tomorrow's bedtime?
No biggie. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to just set that timer up. I set mine up from day 1 just to avoid any lapses or miskates/forgetfulness on my part.

Ya I can't see it hurting especially at this stage.. From what I can understand, having the dark phase interrupted with light is much worse than an extended day or night.
