You can use lemon juice as a natural PH down.I have ordered one. I didn't realise it was that low. Our water here is about 6.5, I will need to get some ph down too.
Beautiful.... saves the $25.I have no shortage of them !! My Lemon Tree is covered in them.

My coco is from a brick, seems nice and clean, no smell at all really. The label said something about excellent ph properties but didn't say specifically if it was treated (calcium nitrate I think is used)its even changes the needed fluctuation when i switch to bloom ph pens are old news with ph perfect tech also my coco is treated
News to me. Good to know. I'd PH anyway lol.its even changes the needed fluctuation when i switch to bloom ph pens are old news with ph perfect tech also my coco is treated
Brick coco sounds like way too much work. I just bought a bag just like a soil bag. Perfecto.if your coco comes from a brick then you need to treat it your self before use thats why i always go for treated clean coco its already been treated to around 5.5
Ya I have been reading about CEC and so on,.. The label on the brick said "neutral ph".. Perhaps I will pick up a bag of good stuff when I get the AN nutes. For now they will have to live in the coco I soaked in calmag solution for 24 hours but according to what I have read it should have been a much stronger concentration.if your coco comes from a brick then you need to treat it your self before use thats why i always go for treated clean coco its already been treated to around 5.5
