I have your coco thread and am working through it as time permits. I will be interested in trying to get some mycos running in it, but that will have to wait a month or two unless I find a real good price lol. I like the passive hydro and will be sure not to let it overdry. I will be starting with using it for Hempy's, so I always flush when I water, it's the easiest way to know you've got enough water in there to start with
It will be interesting to see the overall yeild results between the cloth and plastic growbags/pots. I was debating using some of the cloth ones down the road, both mmj and for some outside gardening, but the plastic ones are a lot cheaper, so these results definitely have my attention.
BID, since coco is a soiless, inert and PH neutral (in theory, lol) medium, it would be possible to replace hydroton, pearlite, etc. in other hydro systems with this in the netpots as well, wouldn't it? I'm just curious here beause I'll be setting up my veggies in the other room soon and some will be dwc but I was wondering if I could swap the hydroton for coco/pearlite or straight coco, or if it would eventually fall through the net and make the res crappy. Any opinion or know anyone who's tried it? As soon as harvest is done the Em Garden in my closet goes to veggies and there's another one still in the box that will be going that way too, hence the question.
As always, thanks for all the info BID. I love your journals and all the help.
