BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Outdoor Grow 2019: White Widow, Northern Lights & CBD Lemon Potion

It’s a big step man, for sure. :welldone:I hope to be fully at her mercy by the 15th :nervous-guy:

Im just hoping to keep up with the changes. I hope its only heat, i can provide shade easy enough, i have a huge outdoor umbrella to go along with the homeless shelter (@InTheShed ). They looked good this morning though.

My bug guy came around yesterday
My bug guy comes every other month. That's one of the reasons I keep my plants in pots and can move them. I don't want him accidentally spraying on my plants, and I also don't want him knowing I have them.
They are officially in the hands of Mother N.

Mother Nature can be cruel, but also merciful! :goodluck: So far, I'm on good terms with her.

For your extreme heat, I'm wondering if Sativas are better suited than Indicas to handle it. :hmmmm:

I agree, it really sounds like Age and I need all the help we can get to beat the heat. I hope by running two sativa dominant hybrids I’ll be okay.

Man it’s all an experiment at this point.

Well, I just dropped a bunch of seeds I made, Haze Extreme x Blue Berry, in the water for another day or so then I'll look for the cracks'n'tappers! According to the genetics from cks should be 47.5% Sativa / 52.5% Indica ish... Not sure what I've got in the jars but I'll see what happens with these for now. 2 of the 3 plants are in the shade for the entire day. The other one gets some direct sun light. As we approach mid year I expect they'll be getting a few hours of sunlight each day between 12 and 3, that's when I'd need an umbrella for them.

I was adjusting the bubblers today and digging some trenches with my hands. I put big flat rocks over the trenches to shield the wet soil. The plants will get flooded 3 times a day for 3-4 minutes. They are planted next to the ficus tress and they need their water too. Hopefully the Amended soil along with the recycled soil will allow for good drainage while they get their tops n bottoms situated. 24 hours still green and happy!

Saturday Morning Update:
It's pretty foggy this morning (6:30am), but good for taking pictures. Everything in the garden is looking pretty good so far. Plants are liking their larger (20 gal) home.

Off Topic
I decided to let my veggie garden soil sit fallow this year, so into pots for my tomatoes and peppers.

I've got a question regarding autos - my Lemon Potion to be specific. Now that it's flowering, but still kinda small since it's only about 5 weeks old, do I continue with "grow" nutes, or switch over to "bloom" nutes, or a mixture of both? :hmmmm:
Check out the Life cycle of an auto in my sig. There's lots of auto answers there.

Hello all,

Thanks for the pic updates, I feel like we are on about the same track but I did a few different training techniques by then and since now. I started @30 days before you did. They are in 1 gallon bags with 23watt cfl’s At 6500k, I have 6 lights on 9 girls.

Here is a girl at 28 days

I did a massive supper cropping to all. today I had to prune all the crazy new growth popping up from everywhere on the bottom and I topped again. I have 60-90 more days of veg, they are in 3 gallon pots right now. hoping to get them in something bigger that 200 gallons within the next two weeks, just up potting to get a good root base before them and it’s a lot of work by myself, plus I didn’t even mention the clones.

Wish you the best of luck with your girls

Note I did 5 different first toppings, doing a study and gathering data. These are the best pics for you to see.

That's a butt-load of plants! Way more work than I care to tackle. Also, how long would it take you to smoke all that?

:nervous-guy:Hey everyone, I've got a little concern on the new growth of my Northern Lights, and to a lesser extent on White Widow as well. The new growth is looking a bit yellow - maybe a magnesium deficiency? The rest of the plant looks fine. I checked the pH of the runoff and it was approx 6.5 which I think should be ok. Your opinions are much appreciated! :Namaste:
