Yes, outdoors size isn't a limiting factor.
I’ve been just supercropping a lot to keep it flat. I’ll add a little topping in to help keep those unruly leads from taking over, thanks!
Top and spread the outer branches out to make room for the inner branches.

Evidently I underestimated the growth cycle of an auto. I read 60 - 70 days from germination to harvest, but it just didn't quite sink in until we saw the first signs of flowering already on Lemon Potion!
Yikes, I'm not ready for this to be flowering yet - LOL. It so small... I better ramp up the feeding.

12 hours later, the other two followed. 100% germination success.
Topping! I would top at either node as long as the growth is strong and the plant Is healthy! I would also take penny’s advice and spread the branches as much as possible during the growth period and too any leaders to keep her big and bushy!Time for some advice please. We're thinking we wouldn't top the auto since it's on a clock and we want it to get as large as possible, but for the two photos I'd like to top them once or twice this year. Last year we did zero topping so I'm pretty new to the process. What's your opinions?
Here's White Widow now with 5 nodes. Should I top it now at the 5th node or should I have topped it at the 4th node?

That stretch can be surprising, just remember you've prolly got a few weeks of it. My Ultra Lemon shocked me and I'm still dumbfounded that it's my plant!

I just went to my local garden store and bought Miracle Grow Seedling Starter mix (the only starter mix they carried). I actually started some bagseed a few months ago using FFOF, and some of the seedlings seemed to get "burned" so I wanted to start these with something more mild. Of course I should have transplanted them into FFOF a week or two sooner, but live and learn...
Thanks for the encouragement - this is really comforting to know! Regarding autos, one can research and learn, but nothing replaces actually growing it yourself for the first time and seeing what they do and learning from my own mistakes.
Yesterday, @Liquidintel and I were discussing popping a couple more auto seeds in the next week or so, since they are such fast growers. By the time Lemon Potion is ready for harvest, the new ones will be ready for flower. They may not yield a bunch, but we'll have a nice variety to consume until next years grow.
Almost forget here's a couple of pics: LP flower and a critter visit.
I popped an Auto Kush for 4.5 oz. Not Bad and my ULH Auto is bigger but not as full interior. Ditch Passion’s Autos are supposed to be monsters too. I want somadoze!!!!

We originally were anticipating 4 - 5 oz, but we've now lowered our expectations to 1.5 - 2 oz. I hope to someday figure out how to get 4.5 oz. Good to know it's possible!

24/7 in a tent is how I did it. Link in my sig for that Kush Auto grow.

that’s exactly what my autos did for me. I was toking on them from about mid season onwards. 
I pulled 6oz off my Blue Treacle auto but that was a very considerate plant. It vegged long so all my LST paid off royally. I find autos too hard to predict which is why I switched over to almost entirely photos.
I counted the tops on my ULH Auto. 42 is conservative not counting growth Near the bottom of the bowl.

Can I get a updated pic on your girls and how old they are. I would like to compare for myself, this is my first time with genetic seeds. I have 8 strains 30 from seeds and 57 clones. Lol I might of went a little bit overboard. Thanks again and best wishes with your girls.
