BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Outdoor Grow 2019: White Widow, Northern Lights & CBD Lemon Potion

Very nice bees! They really like my yellow bells, but I just planted them and it's been windy, so not many visitors. One of my plumeria is blooming, really pretty flowers too. I've been working on the yard a little. Of course I'm in the mind set of planting seeds so anything I can buy growing is good for me.

Good cannabis growers are typically good everything else growers too. :thumb:

If I can jump in to answer that, the best way I know to build an audience for your journal is to spend as little time there as possible, and as much time reading and contributing to other growers' journals.

As others get to know you by seeing you post in their journals and getting a feel for who you are, they're more likely to visit yours.

The Rooster said it very well in response to a similar question:
"If you want traffic follow...be active in other people's journals and they will start to appreciate your kind words and venture over To your place. Be funny. Be engaging and most importantly read the journal. We all know who is just popping in and saying "looks great keep it up" and who has actually been reading things. Obviously we all know if you subscribe to ten threads you can possibly read them all of they are super active. Not unless you are superhuman like pennywise. But for the rest of us I find that if I haven't visited a thread in a week if I catch up to the last 2 pages then I'm pretty up to date. Unless there is a recurring topic coming up. Then you may want to reread a couple pages further back. But this is the best way to drive traffic. Engage others and they will appreciate your words just as you appreciate everyone else's. Once you find a core group of 10-20 people to follow along to and engage with them you become a part of the family and we will never let you sit idle again!!!!! Haha seriously this place keeps me on my toes. Now that I have so many friends on here it eats up hours of my day but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love my people on here.

"Also I'm not sure if you are aware of the great contests that 420 mag offers every month for best picture, nug, plant, member, and journal. There's lots of giveaways and you just have to upload pictures to enter. If you aren't aware of these then this is a great way to engage with other members as well. By congratulating them and appreciating all the hard work behind the entries. Just please don't be a sore loser if you don't win and you feel you should have. It happens all the time but in order to save your reputation and keep all of your friends sometimes you have to just swallow it and keep on keepin on. There's always next month and to be honest the friends and support you gain through being active in the contests is worth far more than any prize you would get from winning. "

I hope that helps!
:Namaste:

Very well said @InTheShed thank you!:rollit:

Great response to a great question!
If i could add that if you like growing outdoors, maybe surround yourself by the more outdoor grower oriented folks on here. Conradino, Shed, Bobrown14,Lazyfish,AmyGardner,Smeegol, Lerugged, StoneyMemoirs, Pennywise, etc.

Those should be good places to start because a lot of folks visit their pages and you’ll likely develop friendships with other participants in the thread too.

You’d be welcome in my journal too! I just finished my indoor grow for the year and am setting my sights on just two plants outdoors...maybe just one.
Cheers!

Thanks Shed, I wasn't sure how to answer that question, but you pretty much nailed it! :Namaste:

Hey y'all have you been over to SB4L's grow? He's got a lot of plants going on, some impressive cloning results and a nice out door grow cruising. Some great pruning techniques which have spurred some ideas for me. I think I found a puzzle piece I've been looking for too, "Pruning back for skeletal strength, as well as structure, Got me thinkin bout something creative with my Berry Bomb Clone.

I briefly visited the 1st page yesterday. It's on my to do list to go back for a better look. :nomo:
Wow Luiz! Hardenbergia is not something I expect to see in an American garden :D
:thanks:
I had a difficult time finding something that would thrive there - two other types of vInes died.. So happy I found this - it's very hardy.

Friday morning update:
Plants are looking pretty good. The yellowing new growth on WW & NL seem to be improving. They are both ready for another round to topping. I was holding off until the nutrient issue was resolved, but I think it should be safe to top them now -- what do you think? Just don't want to add extra stress to them.
Edit: added where I plan to make cuts.

Here's a growth chart for them so far. Of course, each time I top them, they get shorter. ;)
