Beauty vs. Brawn - A Multi Strain Multi Sponsor Grow Off For Bragging Rights

Quick pic to go with my half arsed update.
I do have the start of some tiny little fuzz balls!
Dropped the scrog net over the top and will do a little training this weekend.
Will hopefully do a real update then.

Well, they don't look like fruity pebbles, but I can always close my eyes and imagine with that aroma. :laughtwo: Let us know how those pancakes are @Olddog Newtrick.

DAY 16 BANANA BLAZE AUTO IN VEG.

Happy Saturday everyone, I hope your having a good weekend so far. So far so good on my end I'm finished with work for the day and I'm free for the weekend 👌😌.

Any how ..... Little miss blaze is doing great. She is short, bushy, and growing nice and tight. As you can tell from the prior photos I've moved her under my 90w "Blurple " led. It seems to be more effective in overall growth over my "white" led that is 10w+- stronger. I'm also running it with both the veg and Bloom lights on @ about 10-11" away from top.

And now with all her growth we're at node 4 start of 5. The 4th node had two tiny shoots already growing so I figured there is no better place or time to get vehicles here a haircut ✂️.

Other than watering every 2-3 days she hasn't received anything else. I will start her on a veg feeding schedule with the next watering. So far she hasn't slowed or asked for anything , so Im running with the "if it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it." Mindset 😂. But so far this is going much smoother than the last *knocks on wood* and hoping I can keep it this way.

Somango by Satdica Bulk Seeds (L) and Cream Mandarin by Satdica Bulk Seeds (R) from @Freedom of Seeds

Hi and happy Tuesday!

I hope you don't mind a copy paste of today's entry from my dedicated journal.

I've set the little sweethearts on their swick bases. They each have one wick fed through the bottom holes, crossing the middle section of the pot. They sucked up a couple of tablespoons of fish and microbe water earlier and now they have slowed down to a standstill. I am not going to keep them swicking after I get back, but this will tide them over until I get home from my travels.

Thanks for following along :green_heart: :circle-of-love:

Swick it up, buttercup! :laughtwo:
They look content. Good luck, and stay safe on your travels. It's a crazy world out there. 💞

Week 2 update:

I leave on Friday for a four day trip out of town, hence the swicking. I'm a little concerned about the swicks because the Cream Mandarin looks a tad droopy. Hopefully it'll recover and the swick will work as I want it to.

I also adjusted the lights for DLI and will temporarily leave the light on 24 hours a day until I go and while I'm gone.

Looking happy!! 😎✌️🎶

And with the snap of the fingers, the temperatures here are.....cold. UGH
The grow room went down to 68 F. last night. That is probably going to slow these girls down a little bit, and I refuse to turn on the furnace and burn expensive propane this early in the season.

The shrooms are doing fine, they are in a grow tent with a heater keeping it at 76 degrees F. The plants are probably jealous.

Very impressive how where you topped she didn't split.
Thanks...Yeah, I am always happy to not see split britches after training sessions. LOL
Rita is lovely, is she by any chance a metermaid
I remember posting that very song to a thread not too long ago. Every time I say the name that songs pops in. :laughtwo:
Because you are a good person and gosh darn it people like you
Awww...thank you for that. 😊

Short Update: Day 33 of flower, about halfway to home stretch.
They are coming along okay. The Mimosa EVO buds are getting a lot of brown pistils and appear tighter buds, way ahead of the front one Gorilla Zkittlez, which has all white pistils still.

My eyes have become trained to look for oddities, and sure enough I picked off one very tiny fresh nanner from deep in the top of one of the Mimosa EVO. There are no balls, and I am keeping a close eye for any more and will pick them out if found.
I wouldn't mind a couple of seeds though.....

DAY 21 BANANA BLAZE BY @Dutch Passion Seeds VEG.

Wooooo hoooo almost done with this week... Hope everyone has plans for the weekend and are able to relax a bit .

Alright, we're 5 days past the last update and she's grown quite a bit since the last post. Almost all of the lower shoots have poked through the top canopy, except for a few that were being blocked by two good sized fans.
IMG_20240905_070026915_HDR.jpg
... As much as I didn't want to remove them, I had no choice.
IMG_20240905_163747146_HDR.jpg

But as you can see in the next photo, there was alot going on under the shade of those leaves.
IMG_20240905_152622830_HDR.jpg

After the cut.... I just tucked a few of the smaller fans under the new shoots and called it a day.

Super happy with her growth so far 😁 she should be short but stacked. No complaints..no concerns...no problems (knocking on wood). Fed 1/4 cup Veg by @GeoFlora Nutrients 3 days ago with her tri day watering, and the temperature has been steady 75°f with humidity steady at %50.

Beautiful healthy growth, Happy! Way to keep her focus on the new sprigs. :high-five::thumb::slide:
