Those are some beautiful ladies. :)

Update:

Day 10 in Flower, Day 16 in 12/12

So today I went in and did some more bending, rotated big girl around a bit, and in the end got better spread of plants and light both. I was also able to lower the light about 5".

The front right Master Kush is almost even with the rest of the girls. The other is gaining ground but well behind still. Yet she is bushier and has more top buds than the other.

PPM today was 990, or 1.98 e.c. on .500 conversion meter. So maybe the final perfect number will be around 1080-1120 or so ppm (2.2 e.c). But whatever is perfect we're really close now.

RH is ranging between 55-60% as the front two transpire a lot of water. Still 5 days minimum before they get defoliated unless they somehow get too tall real fast, but that's highly unlikely. So I won't fret over daytime humidity. I'll just open the tent up for a while each day to lower it.

Here's some pics from today:

Looking Super health Buddy !! I gave you some reps, .....I just learned how Duh ! I love the defoliation topic , I won't go all "Edward Scissorhands" next time, but it worked well ..I'm gonna hang around and check this out , Man :goodjob:

Glad to have ya here clayhead! And thanks for the reps!

mini update: day 11 in flower, day 17 in 12/12

Just checked on me girls at lights on. As desired, the Martian Kush have stopped going vertical! YAY! They are doing great some 40 odd hrs after defoliation and already seeing some re-leafing.

Front right Master Kush, the taller one, is almost dead even with Martian Kush in max height. A bit too much xmas tree shape, but it's too late to worry about that. She's still bushy.

Front left or "shorty" Master Kush has gained ground as well and is looking purdy as all get out. I would love all my plants to look just like her in shape and formation I think.

As I mentioned previously, the Master Kush tends to stretch more and faster later in the stretch period than earlier. It's starting to show. I'm beginning to be less worried about a majorly uneven canopy. But I do believe it will still be uneven. Just not as dramatic as I was afraid of.

PH this morning was 6.0 perfect.

Haven't checked ppm yet as I just added a little ro water and it needs to mix up. Might be adding nutrient later today though.

Overall, the decision to defoliate the Martian Kush early in stretch seems to be a good choice.

Glad to hear things are working out for you. You are really getting this method dialed in!

While one can see great results quickly, each growers room, size, and growing conditions and methods are a little different. As well as strains. Getting it all dialed in perfectly (hi-defoliation) can take some time.

I may still eventually go to 3 plant grows in this tent and my 4x4 tent. That also will require a little dialing in. But in the end, the goal to consistently get 10 z's or more per plant is still totally achievable.

*** Dropped 4 Kosher Kush seeds today for next rdwc run***

This is a really nice strain and very sexy. I had great results with it last time, and it will become my #1 strain to keep active.

From the breeder: Kosher Kush will instantly become your favorite smoke. Any herbalist who tries her wants more.... 1st Indica HT Cannabis Cup 2010 1st Indica HT Cannabis Cup 2011 Strain of the Year 2011 Hightimes 2nd Indoor Bio Spannabis 2012 3rd Indoor Hydro Spannabis 2012

Hey Bassman, mind if I pull up a chair?

I have three similar strains going in my grow room right now. A Sativa and two Hybrids, Haze #13, SleeSkunk (Shrom(Mean Martian Green x G13 Haze) x Skunk) and Kandy Kusy. I'm a few weeks behind you, so I'm interested to see how you handle the different strains. So far it looks like you have things under control.

Re: Bassman's 6th, BPN, RDWC, Hi-Defoliation, Hi-Yield Martian & Master Kush grow.

So Bass,
I have a few questions for the grow master if I may!
My plant are on week 4 of veg. Last week I did a defol and the last two days I have tied them down. I usually flip by now because my plants are two to two and a half feet tall. But, now that they are tied down they are only a foot tall. Do I still flip them or give them a few more weeks to reach for the lights?

I'd like to shoot for 4 pounds dry per 4x8 tent. That would double what I have been able to produce so far.

nOOB QUESTION....
What do you mean by flipped?

Flipping them to flowering phase 12/12 lighting.

Since I'm not experienced with tying them down like you are and defoliating I can't say for sure. That being said, I would say let them go until they are the height you need where after they stretch they are at your max height for full light penetration. I presume you know the strains stretch characteristics, so plan accordingly.

Re: Bassman's 6th, BPN, RDWC, Hi-Defoliation, Hi-Yield Martian & Master Kush grow.

Peeked in this morning about 90 mins after lights on. The Martian Kush have shut down stretch just as planned with the early defoliation. They have also fully recovered from the hard stripping and are re-leafing in abundance!

The Master Kush are stretching still, fully bushed out girls. One is near even with the Martians while the short girl is still way behind but healthy as hell still.

They are eating nutes now. I've added nutrient 3 days in a row and am basically maintaining around 980-1010 ppm on .500 conversion meter. PH has been 5.6-6.1 and pretty nice.

I'll do pics again Sat or Sun which are days 22 & 23 in 12/12 and time to defoliate the Master Kush. I'll then have the best picture of how the grow looks and rotate girls around a bit in their buckets for best light. Then start setting up strands of string for support.

*Forgot to mention I super cropped 4-5 more branches of Martian Kush yesterday too.

*Damn Kosher Kush seeds have barely cracked a little. This is out of the norm for me. Been almost 3 days now.
