I grow outdoors and in soil, so I can't help a lot....but my Barney's "Lucy Sky Diamonds" is doing really well. I looked at that "A.G." as well. Maybe next time around. :goodluck:

Just found this one, looks like it could be interesting think I might grab the recliner and watch this one happen. Personal experience says to try to get the smallest bubbles you can, more oxygen is absorbed into the water that way. Everything else is looking good. Will chime in time to time if I see something to improve on,

OK well having some truble with my old acct =( But I am back now and with some updates :yahoo: If the forum mod is reading this can you please pm me so we can get my old acct stuff transfered over to my new one =)

So any how the ladies are doing Great:yummy: i ve moved every thing around bc the ladies were getting to close to the lights and i had them all out to do resv changes so figured some fall cleaning was needed. ALso did some clipping of some of the older fan leaves. I ed say i took 15% off, they were blocking the mid level buds from getting good light. One more wk till i can get my new light. I ve been thinking, i need another Hps in there :hmmmm::hmmmm: :idea:

#1 root porn. This is one wk after starting subcultures. They sure do make the roots look and smell very stinky and dirty :( but they have helped balance out the ph only had to adj the first night and have moved from 5.5 to 5.65 last night. And since we jumped from summer to late fall in 1 wk the over night temps are in the low 50s :) helping me keep my flower room in the low to mid 80s with all the lights on ;) water temps are running 65-69 with lights on so every thing should be just right for big dense buds :morenutes:

this is #3 after topping and just one bend over to side of pot. i pland to lst and super crop this one but waiting till i got room in the flower room for her. so we will just wait and pull some cuttings from her for now. I am thinking she may become my momma for a life long friend ?? so far she is a rocket out of the gates and not showing any signs of slowing even after my top a couple nights ago ?? shes got me puzzled :)

Yup....you Bubble guys facinate me. Likely looking at my future so I'm watching closely all the different approaches. Sativas can be a bit more difficult indoors but it is what I very much prefer so I am wishing you amazing success....:surf:

:thanks: chopper she is taking a long time to flower. it may be my set up but my buddie is growing some bag seed indi and its got 2" nug s and mine is looking like were in his first wk :( just hope its worth it in the end :) But also getting the hydro experience is fun. With soil U can kinda let it do its own thing, with the water i ve been seeing them every day so I dont get to see the big changes like i do with my outdoor, I only go there once wk t feed and was by-wky when we were not getting rain

well every thing is going good the hairs are coming in. thier wraping and the leaves are starting to get a layer of crystals. buddies are starting to take some shape. #2 is a bit behind #1 but almost as big. #3 was gonna get trans planted today but my unopened brand new bag of FFOF came with aphids and larves of some sort :) so have it outside sealed and am in the process of pasturising it :) what a fun task that is:) i called ff to let them know the bag # so they could monitor it and she swears it was benifical bacteria for the roots :) :) yea ok sure thanks for the BS the last thing I want is any kinda pests in my gardens. I pasturize and reintraduce the benies with subcutures and hydrozyme. Ive read here and on other forums that gnats mites and other are a common occurance when using the ffof cause its compost or sum thing who knows, i just am in no rush to get the cutting into dirt so i add the extra work in and hopefully benifit in the long run. I am baking the dirt at 225 in the out door BBQ on a baking sheet getting the soil moist but not wet. 1" layer on old baking sheet on the burner.. But i have inferred burner so its not a direct flame on the pan. The infer red burner disperses the flame to heat equally. but NE how wait till the soil temp is 180 lower heat to 175ish baking the sheet for 15-20 min at 180 to kil off any thing there. Then i have it sitting in a bucket over night and I will inspect it with a fine tooth comb tomorrow. I think i will wait a couple more days and inspect it again. I guess there was 2 ways to clean it and this is the chemical free way ?? ok well enough ranting, I read up on it before buying and ill buy it again, just was hoping that it would be pest free like my buddies FF planting mix ??

Ok well problem i ve runn into is the plant is too big to come out the door ??? :( WTF sothik i am gonna have to drill those drain hole/ hose for level check now. Well i guess they for evacuating the buckets filling and checking the level. i was afraid to do them and have em leak. but now its to much to lift #1 out and i dont want to break any limbs off of her yet :( man am i dreading this. and its also impossible to get my ph and tds probes in aswell so i will be drilling holes in the lids for those aswell and i will just get some 1" plugs

Well any how i got updates and pics.
Well guess I will start off with the new_sun. Well I cant afford much and really cant afford any more heat, so I went shopping online and get another 150w hps. So total I got the 150 hps + another 150 hps + 100W MH + 42w 2700cfl/ 6-26 w 3000k cfls + 6-26w 6500K cfls + 3-23w (??? cfl) = 823 Watts :smokin: I know its hard to se but #2 has began her stretching for the lights and shes spitting hairs finally. Think she is a month behind #1. So hoping 2-3 more wks on #1 then 3 wks later will be #2 and then 2-3 wks later will be #3 and afg. Then were on the 2 wk intervals with 7 clones. Some where around xmas I plan to do a bean order :) Thinking about barneys Vilator kush, pineapple chunk and L*d/LDS/SLD

:( very sad about this one newb mistake. I had one of my sets of cfls burning hott fell out of the pwr strip and took down the top 7" of a lower branch. Oh well its got some crystals and smells great. On the drying rack it goes, whats great is, where it got broke off from, the plant has grown a new site, ANd its has a killer budd in its place. :slide:

#3 all grown up now. I did top her 2 or 3 wks ago and yesterday did some lst on her tops to keep the stretch down. she went flower with the af on 10-17 after 30hrs of dark over last wkend

this is the af coming out of the aerogarden. Who says they wont work for MJ ?? I could hardly get the root through the little opening but did with out major damage. Was about 2 wks late getting it out. God i hope its a girl :)

I am so amazed what little light, a lot of r/o water and some well a lot of love will do. #1 has really taken over my tiny little 8X6 with 8 foot high drop Ceiling. Thank you so much ke43210, I am realy liking this strain.

Well had a electric problem on Sunday am and i did find it till last night :( Well my dumb arse though i could put all my stuff on one 20 amp breaker. well i thought wrong. Since the new sun came i just opted to remove the 100w MH and drop the temp a tad and Since doing so has really slowed the flower on #2 so i put it back on sat night and figured it would pop the breaker if i were to plug it in while every thing was running. Well i must have not been thinking as it was in the middle of the night and i only was running on 5 hrs sleep from Fri night so i turned it on, i set the timer and i thought i was done. SO i moved up to the veg and clone shop and start getting my newest clones into my solo cups mini hempys with 50perlite/50 FF-OF. Well exhausted from working through the past two nights, I chose to got to bed as i had a busy day sat pm. SO finally around 15 past 7 finally dosed off. Well woke up to the fiancee dropping a cell bomb to get me up i answer and she told me we had to rush to er and labor was starting, Oh PS were expecting our first :) SO jump up and dress hop in car rush over to our apt with out checking on the closet :( BIG MISTAKE BTW well get there and she was only having contracts spaced very far apart. NOT DOWN GRADING her pain or anything but the dr said to wait and see if they become more regular. well they stopped think it was a tactic to get me over the apt to be with her, as i ve been spending so much time getting our house/nursery ready for the whittle ones B day. So i didn't get back to the closet last night/early am and right away i know some thing is up and i don't see and light, SHI*, NO SHI*, EXPLICATIVE EXPLICATIVE. So From about 8am to 1am my R-dwc buckets didn't o2 or recirculate all day and missed 4hrs of light. Luckily i had just did a reservoir change Fri pm. and they were topped off and had been bubbled like crazy over night after making them. They didn't show any signs of anything wrong knock on wood. Well needless to say, i spent quite some time running a wiring to the breaker box and installing another breaker for the lighting and the chiller. I am not 100% sure what did it but having 2 circuits wont hurt. SO take a lesson from me and don't cut it close with amp draw, USE A SECOND CIRCUIT :) Well Update #1 is thickening up and the crystals are getting cloudy and found a amber or two around but thinking i still got 2 wks so i will do a ripening bucket this wk and then the flushing starts :) Cant wait, Oh PS i sampled the causality of war, and it was very tastie :) only had some cloudy mostly clear when it got server from #1. It dried in a wk or so, and burnt to a white finish. I couldn't taste any nutes and it was so smooth i would have thought for sure it would be harsh since i was still on bloom nutes when it was broke ?? who knows so this wk the tds said 3029 and 1500ish ppm shes on general hydro flora series the expert one + cal-a-mag + and hydrozyme ,subcultures B M + BTi Oh and the flora nectar pineapple. Well #2 got a good trimming the other day and have tons of leaf around. cant wait to make some Hashish :) Well also had minor/close to major issue last night. went to check on the girl and since were having an Indian summer here on the east coast My temp sky rocketed into the 100s, well 103 when i opened the door :( and they also have some major P burn going on. Dam I am so ticked off I exchanged 2 gals of resv with bare ro water. I managed to scorch the upper 2 levels of the buds leaves and had some major leaf droop weather from the heat or the burn IDK. I hope they pull through. But it also seem that the budds were pretty unaffected just the out sides and tips of the leaves under the hps. although some of the leaves under the and around the cfls and 4't8s also got a small case of tip and edge burn. I swear that the mix was the same as the last one, Think I am on the 3 bloom bucket. Is it normal for the plant to want less nutes further into flower ??:hmmmm::oops::bitingnails::confused::yikes::sorry::sorry: :surrender: :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie: :helpsmilie:

I truly believe that a certain amount of clipping, breaking, pruning, burning, and otherwise physically assaulting these plants, is good for them. They only get either bigger or stronger for it, it seems

GOD DO I hope that is the case I feel so stupid for not tending to them more often and not venting enough. Well lesson learned, and hope fully she will pull through, I swear the budd put on some weight even though most of the leaves were droopy. And hope exchanging 2 gal with plain ro water will will get the ppm with in limits. God i was doing so well, even without a meter, now i got the meter and i burn them with one of the last nute changes. well Prob one more ripen bucket then flushing begins.
