Hey 420. Back with some more updates. First up we'll tackle the soil plants. It's currently Day 49 of flower today so there isn't long left for these. They're looking great and are still healthy with some nice colour developing. I'm going to keep an eye on how much nutrient I'll be feeding them from now on as the MasterBlend seems to be too strong for the end of flower. I'll wait for signs of the tip burn getting worse then I'll drop the nutes to 1200ppm. Over the last few days I've been removing the very lowest fluff from the Shishkaberry to increase airflow and give some room for the good buds to develop. The only reason I'm doing this now is because I've actually had the time to do it. I've been so busy during this round that I'm lucky to have them looking like this. I'm lucky if I get to spend 10 minutes in the room at a time. Still, we have these and for that I'm slightly more than grateful. All 3 are still drinking well so we're not quite on the last stretch yet but it's close. I'm pleased that the humidity is down from the last round but there are a lot of buds in a tight space and they're only going to get bigger. I was going to get another fan but that never happened so I'll work with what I have. Anyway, here we are today....

Shishkaberry....
The buds are swelling nicely on this fruity lady. The Blueberry is noticeable in the smell now and she's really greasy. If I had known how she was going to grow then I wouldn't have worried about training her a short much. I think I've removed a quarter of her since the second week of flower lol....

Vanilla Kush....
Beautiful plant with some solid production. Her buds are all kinds of colour and she's stacked up nicely. Her scent is sweet, creamy and has a Kush undertone that finishes it nicely. Every time I look at her I think I see a banana or a seedpod bursting from her flowers but it's always a false alarm. She just has lots of little foxtails and yellow hairs bursting from all over the place....

Love this plant. Her buds are dark and completely obscured sometimes by the incredibly white trichs that absolutely coat her. Her buds are very firm and compact and remind me of gummy sweets covered in crushed glass. Her scent is a sweet and earthy incense so I'm looking forward to giving this one a go....

Did it give you a shit eating grin ???. lol. Kills me how they use product names without sensitivity of supermarket checkout belts. No sneaking stuff discreetly by with names like Anusol. However there are the exceptions when trying to be as obvious as possible " Tampax Digital Tampons" had me for a long while . I couldnt work out how digital would be helpful or discreet , how would you know the readings ? , did it beep or vibrate when needs changing ? . I am serious too. I knew discretion and dignity would be paramount but thought this defeated the whole objective. Felt a pillock when the penny dropped ffs !!!!

Purple Punch....
There's lots to talk about with this one today. We can begin with why she's now caught up in that big ol net. Basically she went TIMBER! I came in to check on her one morning and half of her had collapsed under her surprisingly impressive weight. The colas at the back of the tent were all bent down and the front ones were swaying like trees in a breeze. I did the only thing I could and carefully put the net in place to proper back up and give her some support. Her buds are the most solid of all of my plants and man do they stink. She just keeps getting better and better in that department. There is a major problem with her though something that you can't really see from looking at her though it'd explain why her leaves look so rough. To cut a long story short she has some severe root damage. Rotten to the core I'd say. I can't get a pic of it at the moment but they smell pretty bad. I noticed it when I was supporting her. Not sure why it's happened but there has been H2O2 in the res since she had the rot earlier. I checked the roots a couple weeks back and they looked fine. Maybe a little brown but I put that down to staining. They're so bad now that she might as well not have any roots lol. I'm checking her daily as I don't want this one falling to the rot. She smells so good and has such dense bud that I don't think it would be too much of a loss if I had to harvest her now. I'm going to try and keep her in there for the next 2 weeks but it feels wrong and I'm prepared for an emergency harvest. Still she grows though. Tough lady....

But what about the species difference. Mine is from "another realm" so I am not sure her safety would be due to it actually being safe for humans !.

You have done really well to manage so many and with different strains and cycles on top too. For the little time you have been able , they are amazing prof. Changing nutes is hard enough as it is with dialing in ect... Excellent as always mate. that is one crammed room but still looks like u can move air and as you said , the rh has gotten far better for us this side too. great workAchoo Purple....

Vanilla kush has some gorgeous buds. The red pistils are striking. AP looks killer.

Are you getting tart grape off of her for scent? I just dropped one a week ago on my old journal. I'm a wee bit curious.

Thanks GG. It's been a bit of a struggle which is why I'm going with just the 2 strains for the next round. I'm going to consolidate all my weekly updates into one easy to manage update lol

The short answer to your question is no. I was expecting some grape or berry influence from the GDP but there's nothing. That may sound like I'm disappointed but oh no. She smells like fire. More chemmy and fuelly than several diesels and OG Kush strains I've grown in the past. It really is heavy. Im just hoping I actually get to try it

I didn't get any fruity esters from the GZ plant I grew but she had a hard life.

Tiny update for some tiny plants today. I thought as we haven't seen these in a few days I'd best do a quick report. So here we go. Both are doing well. One is slightly larger than the other. Both are still being fed plain tapwater with a ph of 6.8. They're currently in 1ltr pots. They're both under a 100w 7000k floodlight....sat in a cupboard because I'm still awaiting tent space. Won't be long now though....

Hey 420! Hope everyone is well and keeping warm unless you're from somewhere hot in which case disregard what I said. Not the well part.
Got the usual updates for ya today with some mild drama so parental guidance is advised. We'll start with the soil plants who are heading into the final phase. I'd say around 2 weeks left these 3.
Last night I was awoken by a strange noise coming from somewhere in the house. I went to check and could tell it was coming from the grow room. It was the fan which I'm using for air circulation for these 3. It was making a horrible screeching sound but there wasn't much I could do about it. It stopped on its own after 5 minutes so I went back to bed. I woke up this morning and went to check the plants like I do everyday and the room was much quieter than usual. The fan had blown so ive had the tent doors wide open today so I don't get any mould. I've just got a new one now so all is good. That's the last thing I need lol. No air circulation in the final weeks of harvest.
The plants are looking on track and look good all round. Here we are on flowering Day 52....

She's filling out nicely. Excellent bud production on this one. She still has the blueberry smell but it also has strong hash notes. The buds are going nice and firm and look very pretty. Still not looking forward to trimming this one lol....

The VK has been a star for the whole grow. Can't fault her at all really. Smells great, looks beautiful and has a good, workable structure. It's been an easy plant to grow as well. The buds look tasty and are beginning to pull the colas down....

Ayahuasca Purple....
There's something about this strain. She's not going to yield like the other 2 but those buds look so good. Those leaves look so good as well lol. The frost is incredible and not what I was expecting. Her nugs are the most dense of these 3 but also the smallest. I am looking forward to trimming this one....
