Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Good, glad to hear it. I think I will be forever tormented by the fear of spotting a seed..
Going to hydro sounds like a good idea, and by the time you’re completely converted, it won’t be summer anymore, I’d think that’d help the cause too.
Damn thrips!
I had a couple grows in a row where there was a huge amount of hermies. It was because of a light leak but I'm always expecting to see them after that.
Peripatetic
smart arse ;)
Yes please. lol. sounds a done deal mate . Will look like a 70's Pimps ball come harvest time with all the purples. lol
I'm gonna be like Andy Gibb shadow dancing in my grow room!
Fun! I prefer Torquay personally.
Ever been to the north coast of Devon?
I agree with GG would love to see an all purple grow

Only place I remember going on the north coast was Newquay. I liked that too! Can't remember but I might have liked that one better than Torquay. Been a long time...over 20 years I believe.
Newquay has suffered in recent times. It's a bit of a party town now. I'm further up the coast where the goats are

Hey Prof, it looks like all is still well in here! :nomo::bravo:
This is how the veg plants look today..
Nice topping on the veg girls!

That POG is looking like a beast as per usual, those are gonna be some big colas come harvest! :headbanger::meatballs:

That’s a cool pic Prof, you’ve filled that space really well - the net sure is doing its job!

Morning Prof!
I'm just headed to sleep. Have a great day.
Back now! It's been a tiring and hot day lol. Where we're working at the moment there's no shade so we do half an hour or so then go for a 5 minute break. I look like I've just got back from Egypt lol

Thanks Mr Irie! Hope you've been well brother. Those are some nice harvests that you've just done over on your thread! Only a few days left then it'll be harvest time here as well. This grow has flown by. Feels like I only popped the seeds yesterday even though it was actually ages ago because of the disastrous and prolonged veg stage. I have some good news for you and everyone else who'd like to know. The new seeds are arriving on Friday! I'm currently trying to psych myself up for the harvest and grow room clean before we start the next round lol

New seeds!!! Exciting. Which ones did you decide on? Purple punch?
We have the Purple Punch, Shishkaberry, Ayahuasca Purple and Vanilla Kush. It looks like it'll be the Purple Punch in the DWC pot and the Shishkaberry and Ayahuasca Purple in soil. I guess I could probably fit the Vanilla Kush in with those 2 if I wanted. After these I'm hoping to do a few auto runs with some of the new Autoflowers

Veg Tent Update....

Hey 420! The veg plants are still alive and kicking. I think we'd have known by now if they were going to drown in large damp pots. I did some research prior to the transplant and decided that there should be enough oxygen at the roots as there's is way more sand than soil in this mix. I took a massive risk putting them straight into fully saturated 5 gallon pots from the 1ltr pots they were in previously. It seems to have paid off though and I may actually impressed with how they're handling it. I'll keep this mix after the grow is finished and depending on how it goes I'll either add it to the rest of my soil that I'll be reclaiming from the upcoming harvests or if all goes well I may run with a sandier mix in the future. There is one downside that is already clearly apparent and that's the weight of this stuff. Sand is heavy! You ain't going to be performing a pot lift to determine whether your plant needs watering or not when using a 10 gallon pot lol. You'd break your spine! I can just about manage with the 5 gallon pots but I'd not recommend bending over at funny angles and lifting heavy pots. I'm hoping that I won't have to water them like coco and hope I can get away with a few days before having to give them more nutrients. I'd like to give them some more nutes now but I also want to see how long the pots take to dry though that may take some time as the plants are technically too small for the pots at this stage. We don't like doing things by the book though! I'll be putting them into the 2ft x 4ft tent as soon as the OS and GZ have been removed and the tent cleaned. I won't be flowering them just yet though and will probably give them another couple weeks veg. This tent will then be hosting the strains I mentioned above. I'm using tablet cam again today as the other one ran out of juice just as I was about to take some pics....
