Phantom OG....

Well first off I must apologise for the lack of decent pics. The tablet cam really hated peering into this tent today. Only 2 pics were worth saving lol. It's day 45 and all is good. I'd say that there are around 3 weeks left until harvest for this one. I've still not staked her but she's holding up reasonably well. Thankfully she's no way near as floppy as the GZ otherwise we'd have been in trouble by now. Her buds are starting to look sparkly and gooey as they continue to swell though I don't have any pics of them lol. I think that there are some darker shades developing in the buds but I can't really tell today as I missed lights out. Anyway. No bad news to report which is good news....

Gorilla Zkittles....

The pics are a bit better for these so hooray. I'm probably going to take this one on Sunday mainly because that's when I'll have some time available if I'm lucky. That'll be day 63 for her then. She is so going to cost me a post of snips lol. I'm dreading the trim for this one now that I look at her but am really anticipating the trim on the OS for some reason. The buds are slowing going purple up top now which I've been hoping they would do but I don't think that they'll catch up with the lowers. They are deep purple in places and super frosty despite being in the dark for most of the flowering period. Her buds aren't large but are like little solid stink bullets. There's also loads of them. I'm going to have a tough time trimming up all the underneath fluffy stuff and I wouldn't if it didn't look as pretty as it does lol. Here we are with 4 days left on the countdown....

Looks easy to trim as there are no fans in the buds and every leaf has sugar. So you can save it all!

Orange Sherbert....

This little fatty will be down on Saturday so only 3 days left. She's almost the opposite to the GZ in many ways. She has big, fat and tightly packed buds that feel rock solid. Her branches could probably hold a kilo each and she's as short as Warwick Davis. I'm so looking forward to chopping those branches off one by one and having a look at how well she's produced down the stems. Her larfy stuff is way bigger than the GZ's and is actually quite firm if you give it a little squeeze. Here's the little monster coming up to the end of her service....

Hey my magnanimous friend! Do they call those dead Egyptian guys and gals mommys over on the other side of the Atlantic? The 4 veggers are looking good! To be honest with you I kept thinking to myself "Prof, just do it normally then it'll work. Your gonna balls it up again. Shed'll get you".

How long are you planning that to be Shed and would their be room for a couple more for the sake of a few more shovels full ?? heehee

We have the Purple Punch, Shishkaberry, Ayahuasca Purple and Vanilla Kush. It looks like it'll be the Purple Punch in the DWC pot and the Shishkaberry and Ayahuasca Purple in soil. I guess I could probably fit the Vanilla Kush in with those 2 if I wanted. After these I'm hoping to do a few auto runs with some of the new Autoflowers

Hey 420! The veg plants are still alive and kicking. I think we'd have known by now if they were going to drown in large damp pots. I did some research prior to the transplant and decided that there should be enough oxygen at the roots as there's is way more sand than soil in this mix. I took a massive risk putting them straight into fully saturated 5 gallon pots from the 1ltr pots they were in previously. It seems to have paid off though and I may actually impressed with how they're handling it. I'll keep this mix after the grow is finished and depending on how it goes I'll either add it to the rest of my soil that I'll be reclaiming from the upcoming harvests or if all goes well I may run with a sandier mix in the future. There is one downside that is already clearly apparent and that's the weight of this stuff. Sand is heavy! You ain't going to be performing a pot lift to determine whether your plant needs watering or not when using a 10 gallon pot lol. You'd break your spine! I can just about manage with the 5 gallon pots but I'd not recommend bending over at funny angles and lifting heavy pots. I'm hoping that I won't have to water them like coco and hope I can get away with a few days before having to give them more nutrients. I'd like to give them some more nutes now but I also want to see how long the pots take to dry though that may take some time as the plants are technically too small for the pots at this stage. We don't like doing things by the book though! I'll be putting them into the 2ft x 4ft tent as soon as the OS and GZ have been removed and the tent cleaned. I won't be flowering them just yet though and will probably give them another couple weeks veg. This tent will then be hosting the strains I mentioned above. I'm using tablet cam again today as the other one ran out of juice just as I was about to take some pics....

It says to call to make a "convenient" appointment. How long have you got left to your harvest? Can you pretend to be on holiday for 2 months? What a bunch of rusty sherif badges!
 
Veg Tent Update....

Hey 420! The pots are still too wet to water though it's definitely on the turn. The surface is beginning to break up and go crumbly so it shouldn't be too long before I can get some more nutrients in the pots. It's been more humid today than it has been in recent weeks. It got up to 80% for much of the day. They'll be out of here soon and will have a more controllable environment to bask in. Tomorrow we get to pop the new beans! I received an email telling me that I have to be home to receive the package as it requires a signature. Luckily we finished the job that we were working on today so I'll be home. Probably sitting by the front door like a dog awaiting its owner....

Are those good or bad eyes? I've just sprayed them all again because I found a thrip on the Blue Gelato 2. There's a bit more damage on them today so I know that the next wave is on the way. My favourite is the Strawberry Lemonade 1. She's the most pale and apparently most hungry so far
 
Phantom OG....

This girl is on auto pilot. She's being very kind to me and is letting me get on with my life. Because the others are so close I've not been checking on this one as much. It's always a pleasure to see her though. I'm happy that the thrips have left her alone over the last few weeks and she hasn't suffered too much from the previous infestation. We have some better pics today....
