Barney's Farm - Mimosa X Orange Punch - SIP

Day 28:

Seems the cutting of her first and second nodes did not bother her at all!

I topped off her res again and I decided not to jump her up to the next step in nutes. Her coloring is good and 2 of the fan leaves on node 3 has their center leaf clawing pretty aggressively. I figure she will be fine if I keep her at the current nute level as she is about to explode with growth and should be able to chomp through it with ease. If I notice it continues or spreads in 3-4 days I will drain some of the res and do a plain water top watering to dilute a tad and rinse the media a tad. I don’t think it will get to that point though.

I have been spreading out that 4th node with my fingers every time I go into the tent to ease her into the training. The 3rd node is just developing and I could probably start training by Monday. Node 4 is still looking like it will be closer to Friday. Will top when I start training on node 4 as well.

Day 29:

The clawing has moved on to the leaves next to the center. Will keep an eye on it and adjust if I need to.

Also node 3 is moving right along and should be ready for training can see the clawing and node 3 below.

Node 4 is just now popping out

So things are moving right along and her top will probably come off next weekend. I could probably do it before then but I don’t want to FIM it.

There are many MC users that can give you advice @InTheShed being one.
Yeah I might just be moving a bit too fast with the schedule. That’s why I repeated that weeks feeding again.

If you indeed had a bad batch of ProMix HP last time and your new bag/bale is Good there is no need to use Anything But Mega Crop one part.

You could be chasing your tail, Again ;)

Cheers
Yeah this bale is good to go!

Noted on the MC only!

Day 30:

So I decided to do a little mini flush and top watered in a gallon of plain water slowly. Hopefully that will dilute some of the nutes in the media and it will certainly dilute the res :)

Will hold off on feeding anything until the res is empty and then I’m going to back off the nutes a bit.

Node progress is looking good and I’m still thinking this weekend will be the start of training with a possible of chopping her head off :)

Nice to see the water only coming out of the correct place. ;)

Plant looks great!
Ain’t this the truth……

Yeah she is looking good! I think I went a little crazy with her but should be fine if I just chill with her for a moment and take a breath :)

Day 31:

Well don’t I feel like a jack ass!!!

Popped into the tent today and saw there was plenty of room to top! So off with her head, and then some! I accidentally got the majority or all of the leaves of one of the nodes….

So maybe a triline? LOL I’m hoping they grow back and if not then oh well. Haha what a jack ass!!

Well anyways on with the training…

Ugggg I CAN NOT believe that I did that…..

A LOT of growers have done it. ;-) Onward and upward...well outward in this case. LOL

Well the lesson learned today is to cut in the opposite direction or perpendicular to the node directly below your trimmers LOL
