Bandaid Haze #7 And Other Goodies

and we got morning rains,,, damn it I'm still in Portland? JK

Cooking over wood has lost its appeal here. Kids are ruining everything. Lol
A couple of cinder blocks and a grate with a nice pile of Oak and eating a meal fit for a king.

Rec-Tec > Traeger

Nice rig Vortex

Oh, I don’t have one. I’m not a pussy.

But for a puss rig, it’s much better than a traeger. With them, you really have to get into their upper end stuff before the quality, durability, and reliability get to where they should be.

Fuck, my buddy sold me a pair of coppa chops from one of his pigs that he recently harvested. He feeds his pigs almost entirely beer and acorns. The coppa steaks were outstanding, big fat slab of #1 fat in the middle of each one

Those sound tasty

@Lerugged I did a cast iron sear and baste in their own renderings. When they were cooked to medium they looked like beef. Dark caramelized outside with a red center. It was wild. Hands down the best bite of pork I’ve ever had

Penny my buddy has a big patch of tomatoes going right now. I’ll have to tell him to toss all the junk tomatoes into the pig bucket

yumm im a real meat eater lol.

I have a Blackstone griddle. Sounds like a wussy grill but I love that MF. I have a torpedo style smoker for pork butts and such. I love smoking BB ribs

Blackstones are not pussy grills. They’re pretty awesome. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm thinking about getting one of them Traeger barbecues look sweet... wood pellets that are supposed to keep aa temp that you can bake a cake in? All the flavors wood pellets...... Costly ass bitchs,,,,,,,, but I found a copycat for 300 bucks????? I might look into it.. but a good Traeger run over a grand????? That's alot of beef????

I got one discounted through my job since we stock them. Traegers are awesome. You literally become a pro over night lol.. Only way we can sell them is to have one going so sundays at work we got food going for both shifts and customers can check them out. Cooking outside is pretty essential over here. Hope everyone is having a blessed day!
