Im on well water hon - and even though we have a whole home water filter AND filtered fridge water - there’s still enough TDS in the water that causes mineral build-up on my humidifier. I found that on when I took it out and gave it a thorough cleaning a couple weeks ago. The mineral build-up on the heating element was so bad it took EIGHT HOURS of soaking the thing in straight vinegar to get it cleared again. Oy vey!

And uh oh! I think I have ANOTHER baby that JD is gonna have to take! Its a Blueberry auto from 420

Thanks! I agree. I'm just happy the migraines have let up so I can get it done! For the last couple of years they have put me down. This is actually rehab. Awesome rehab! I remember 10,000 steps was energy giving. It's nap time if I get to it now! Hehe, won't be long before it gets better!

Liv continues to look great - now seeing quite a few long roots coming out of the net pot and going into the water now (time to stop top feeding?). Her third set of leaves are showing the characteristic 5 fingers and are looking healthy!

If you got airstones in the bucket and the roots are in the res, you can quit using the drip ring. Drip ring by itself, drip ring and airstones together, airstones by themselves. They all work fine.

Liv continues to thrive! She’s reaching out for the sides of the bucket top and reaching for the light. Roots look really good. Today was the first day the PPM was down (in addition to a drop in the water level) so it looks like she’s actively starting to feed.

I had a stern talking to Lemi … told her no glamor shots until I see something photo worthy and that she has til day 14 before she hits the compost.


Bubbles looks great - you cant tell from this shot but she’s very tall (is that good?)

I have been playing around with the Wyze time-lapse videos. I now have a way to combine individual footage. Even better, I have a single command that can remove all 'dark' frames from the video. This allows be to take time-lapse continually for a week (or more), and then remove the 'night' frames from the video once it is done. Download ffmpeg and run:

ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -vf "blackframe=amount=0:threshold=92, metadata=select:key='lavfi.blackframe.pblack':value=45:function=less,setpts=N/FR/TB" -vsync 0 out.mp4

I just set the time lapse for every three minutes - nothing special!

Thanks @Trala! Again, they’re not done yet! Its my own sugar cookie recipe - I started with one I was given by another cookie artist and adapted it.

And if you can color in a coloring book, yep - you could do this (my ass cant draw a straight line WITH a ruler!)
