Congrats on the equipment score! Good things happen to good people. This is a fine example.

I really like your videos. You are a natural with good verbal training skills. Good info I can learn from with the added plus of video!!! You just can't beat that for learning. ....and you are entertaining too!

:bravo:

i agree, very busy mate, but i bet now you got it all done its worth it, you know how far you got your light away from the plants, well what watt is the light, i got my 400watt hps down to less than 30cm or 1ft in old money, i only managed this by having 2 12v computer fans blowing across the top of the plants, doing this allowed me to get the light lower, without the fans the light would be way to hot

Somebody's been busy! :thumb:
hell ya! many more plans im thinking a scrog with the new light been lookin at vids and researching you can pull some awesome weight and buds with those t5ho lights saw a vid dude pulled 8 dry on one plant with the same light i have, trick is canopy management and keeping em close,

its a 600 watt with overdrive im running at 663 watts very powerful light and ballast, the bulb is the eye hortilux + i have got an a/c vent blowing in and across the plants that air is 50degrees F keeping the tent under 80f now, and the t5 lamp makes very little heat staying at 74F in that tent, after only 1 1/2 light cycles the veg girls are looking awesome and growing better than they were under the 400watt mh i think its the lower temps, before all this change i was pushing 100f in both tents

so on the lings 3 are up 2 cream caramel auto that came from the one i pollinated with feminized pollen so selfed seeds ...or some accidental pollination from mi5 auto or Himalaya blue diesel auto in any case im happy to be growing out more cca im kinda hopin its selfed or the hbd
and the third is the blue cheese! this makes me very happy ,,my favorite strain!!, i peeked in several of the plugs and all are "tappin" woo hoo perhaps im gonna get another 100% i hope

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

seems like your having great results with the rooter mate.

so far, touch wood i have had 100% success with all my seeds since growing again, paper towel method was 100% but i found it took longer for the seeds to pop using paper towel, the ak47 x uk cherry cheese took anything up to 7 days to pop the seed, but in soil its been a lot quicker, next time i go the garden center ill pick up some of these rooters, sound like a good idea to me,
thanks for the info on the light, im using dual spectrum hps but i still get lots of stretch with the seedlings, this could be because i have the light further away from the plants due to heat or it could be that the blue spectrum in the dual spec bulb is still not high enough, although the bulb box says it is the right wavelength, so instead i have been using cfls in a small veg cupboard and i start the seeds under that as i dont get any stretch so i give them a couple of weeks under the clfs before puttiing them under hps, i have found that once the seedlings are on their 2nd set of real leaves i can then put them under the hps to veg and this stops the stretching and gives me the kind of plants i want

yeah don i was gonna say get cfl or t5 but you got it sorted, im a big fan of the rooters i have used every method in the book for germination and even a few new things but after poppin this dozen and the 5 before im sold 100% my favorite thing is that theres no need to touch the seeds after you start them you just remove the little piece of rooter from the hole if you want to peek, the brown color makes it easy to see the white taps, they keep the seeds at the perfect level of moisture and whatever they put in them bacteria wise the seeds just love, the two things i didnt like was how to mark them to keep track of what was what, and when you try to lift them out of the individual spots/holes the rooters fall apart and tear, i solved for idenity i found that the flat plastic tooth picks make perfect little markers just need a fine tip permanent marker, and for tearing well the solution is not 100%yet but a few things help a squirt of water keeps them from sticking a small piece of string under the root plug helps so i highly reccomend them i have seen nothing better or faster, and its the same for doing clones in them, my last clone session i ha d roots coming out of the plugs after 3-4days on a few! fastest i have seen! :thumb:

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

well sitting here watching the raven and planning the lives of the seedlings im going to do some experimenting and testing of course i believe i shall do some in my soil mix and some in mybeloved coco,as i have 2 full new blocks as seen in my soil vids, and im contemplating a dwc in a 5gallon bucket i do have all the nessessary equip just not sure about space ,pythium ,ph etc. i want to see how coco does with azomite and a bit of gypsum does with the calcium mag issue, and i suspect with all those minerals in azomite it will lead to some exqutite bud combined with those wonderful bpn organics.. im not sure if i will do hempys i wish to avoid the past problems i have had with drying and wilting in the second half of flower due to the combo of small 2liter containers and massive root ball,,i think it has held back the potential of some of the buds in the past im thinking perhaps 1 gallon smartpots or some similiar sized container or maybe a taller 2gal hmm maybe i'll connect 2 two liters lol the ones i have done in 3liters have allways done alot better ,with wilting and produced more, .. it seems i have a puzzle to solve, maybe i'll just mix n match to see what does what, im of course open for suggestions, just not gonna spend a bunch of money till i have decided on a pot for each soil and coco

Go to Wal-e-World, get those clear water bottles in the tall square bottles with the ribbon taped to them... the crystal quartz geyser ones, or the select<->sunny ones with the clip-on plastic handle....... sand the outsides with some fine grit, and paint them black! 1Gal is 3.78L, so it might do better, and they're square bottomed, instead of on those dimpled bottoms, may be more stable. plus you can use the water inside for the plants......or drinking....

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

Yo the notorious B.I.D. Good karma buddy, what goes around comes back, and it sounds like all the love n bud you've given out has come back in the form of tents and lights! So nice to have so much space for flower, you can really have a perpetual now! So many options, and now enough space for all those experiments...

For the 2l's drying out... did you try taping the hole and making another one higher up? or even just not having a hole? Much more water w/o the hempy hole...

Looking good in there, I'm looking forward to your new lings already!

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

Well into flowering, keeping 2 liters hempys from drying out can be a challenge. They cannot go a full 24 hours without drying up and wilting in my experience. They also get so top heavy that they fallover when dry.

My thought at the time was to raise the hole also for the next batch which I never started. Similar to the post above, I thought a milk gallon jug might be worth trying with small holes drilled 2 inches up from the bottom. You would have to slice off the top some, but leave enough on one side so you can still use the handle.

lol you underestimate how lazy i am lol, that sounds like work ! making 12 or so of those but the size is quite good i'll definitely consider your idea, im going into solo cups with them today all but a couple are up n ready for cups and fresh air ,damn plugs are fast!

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - BPN - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Multi-Strain Tent Pa

got 9 of the lil ladies in red solo cups with coco for now some will likely end up in my soil mix, but im worried it might be a bit much for them at 2 & 4 days old, 1 widow bomb is slow but coming,an mi5 thats a dud but i will let it go a while, i have 2 of my strain"tt kush" (trailor trash mom crossed with royal purple kush dad) put them in plugs yesterday tapping today i couldn't resist trying one of my strains and tt is one i have worked on for a long time,:thumb: its got some killer traits with 4 phenos now ,well with rpk in there im hoping to get some new phenos with shorter flower time 10-12 weeks and better potency, and some purple :thumb: would be nice!:Namaste: i will keep the autos in coco for sure and any i plan to flower quickly, scrog and long veggers prolly soil, but as you guys know with me it could be all in a sophisticated space age diy hydro eating martian space nutes next week lol
about that coco well the coarse stuff is hella big chuncks i must have been getting the medium grade this stuff is like heavy mulch chunks as big as walnuts! i had to pick it out from the cups ,good candidate for reusing a few times as it breaks down
