Pretty much any LED you buy now has IR I think? UV the jury’s still out. I have a grow curing now, my first grown with UV. Very good sized nugs, hard but then should have been anyway. They say its better for terps and cannabinoid production. I’ll send it for testing and try myself in about 10 days and see what I think.

I had very good results doing 45min mid cycle back in the day. Still looking for UV pucks to order to do just that. I believe they will soon be better accessible and affordable in the EU.
Still crazy expensive to order from US here. Maybe Alibaba have them now?, the search never ends!

my lights have some IR but now some are coming out with far red also i'm guessing in a few years they'll have cold fusion light that mimik the sun Lol!

I was reading that in the UVC 120-230nm range you can run them 5 minutes or so a night and kill PM and mould spores. The PM is protected from UVC under the sun. It has a defence or shield against it. But this is switched off at night time. So you zap ‘em with the UVC while it sleeps.
I bought an aquarium one for algae to try and then another random UVC 15w cold pressure bulb. Gonna give them a go on this grow.

Yeah UVC is awesome. I've seen units that have it mounted for intake ducting. 5 minutes is to short to do any negative difference I believe but it's a little bit scary since UVC is not healthy for humans and plants. Looking forward to see how they react to it, if anything!

Indulge me and roll back the days these long spent to the distant past, some far distant and weary limbed 48 hours past, if you would.
The proud Guardian of The Gas hangs defiantly above the canopy, eking out that gaseous gold to the starving girls below. Indominatable.
Yet today near subsumed by ravenous harpies.
12 heads lopped off with an AziFoot for scale.
I’m just looking for a nice spot here. I didn’t count any nodes. I was looking to even the canopy a bit more more important is looking for two or three really broad looking nodes nicely spaced. A couple are a bit longer spiced, more than I really like. I need to check the CarmenSchematic to be sure but betcha they’re the BBMR’s. I also cut the middle plant too low. Again. Last grow too. Honestly I should have pulled them out to do it. But I’d just mixed 200 litres of nutes in hot AF weather and I couldn’t be bothered.
Let them recover a day or two and then maybe pull the first trellis down. This is more for support later in life and organisation. I’m not expecting it with these strains but last grow I had Mimosa OP’s migrating back to front and it got a bit annoying trying to figure out which plant was which.

Utter madness for day 36. This take three to four hours a day through the stretch to control. The last week, every day, that much time. Growing so fast it takes wake up and evening training sessions. Insane growth on the Gorilla Cookies with Cyco. Beastly GC in the coco 10 is so gargantuan I can’t even picture it effectively. No doubt about it now - biggest auto I’ve ever grown and still nary a pistil. I have maxed her relative to width and the space available, now we go up. Otherwise the Northern Lights will have to go. Both reservoir plants steady and solid with serious root development. All four organics going nuts. Trizkit and Bruce Banner are immense. I can’t explain all this, all I’ve done is the grunt work. Massively lucky on genetics and phenos is my only explanation. I’m not this good.

Way smaller than the other two Gorilla Cookies. For obvious reasons. Similar growth to the other two just on smaller scale. Way faster to flower. This plant is on day 36 and is a day away from budlets. First of the nine to get there. The other two are sans pistils. Perfect structure. Awesome green. Got lucky with my proportions and aged my prepped pots for the full two weeks this time. Way better results. This plant looks awesome to my eyes. I’m psyched I’ll have an organic and a chem of the same strain. The Gorilla Cookies I can’t say enough about. Amazing amazing auto.

We’re counting days differently for reasons I don't fully understand since we popped same day!
For me we popped 5th in paper and by the 7th they were OK to put in dirt. There were decent tap roots and the beginnings of leaves. So Day #34 for me 7th - 31st is 24 plus 10 days of February (its still 10th for you) are you counting from the 5th? I’ll do the same if so? Seems easier.
Yours are way closer to flower than mine - this wasn’t my intention, just to out veg you and hope for the best.
But I killed the lights at midnight tonight which is 2 hours earlier than their normal time in preparation for 12/12 on Monday. Maybe I’ll catch you up. Maybe I’ll do a 36 hour lights out pre flip. All of this and more in the next instalment of Jon-test!
