A Hermaphrodite is a plant with both male and female parts! Docs kit is a soil that a bunch of people on here grow with as I believe it's about the uptake of sugars and other minerals and there's levels of Brix your soul can be at the highest numbers being the best. They also use different methods of feeding foliar sprays and also watering techniques like half of the water on top the other let it set in and up take through the bottom. Docs high brix kit is a system for growing plants in Promix spahgnum moss with Mycorrizae fungi. Then they use mostly rock minerals and natural supplements to feed the plants. Its supposed to produce plants with very high brix lvls. Brix = sugar lvls.

Just one more question, why is it important to have high sugar levels?

Okay, two more questions, are you telling me that using Doc's Brix Kit would be a good method to use if you weren't sure of the sex of your seeds? If you know your seed is already feminized, what would happen to it using the kit?

The only thing I can think of is sugars turn into carbs and the plants turn the sugars into carbs and the sugars also feed the microbes in the soil. Now for the second question . If you have Fem seeds you will get a female using the "kit" has nothing o do with sex of the seeds!!! It's a way to produce very very healthy plants without feeding them chemicals and snake oils basically just what the plant needs to thrive!!! Your plants would turn out amazingly perfect and covered in trichomes! I believe it will run you about $300 to get all set up with the "Kit" From what I've seen very well worth it!Hope that helps!!! There are many ways you can process it. Just heck out you tube for the how to's. the safest home method is dry ice kief extraction. RSO is fairly safe if you do it low and slow. I would not recommend any one doing BHO at home. To many people blowing up garages because they don't understand the process. If you live in a legal state you may be able to have someone process it for a fee. I have friends that make seeds and there favorite hash is made from seeded flower.

Is anyone else very familiar with Strawberry Cough? I'm on about day 22 and I'm wondering if I should start training her to keep her around the 1 foot mark

Hermies are not plants that carry seeds. a female can carry seeds being pollenized by a male too, makes this a hermie outta her? No. A hermie is per definition a hermaphrodite...in cannabis cultures its a female that sexchanges on some parts or grow single pollensacks that MAY pollenize the buds.

Also the high brix kit is simply an organic kit that produces high brix plants when used right. Google brix and hermaphrodism...

Yeah man my best friend grows nothing but strawberry cough and yes start training her asap cause my buddies plants stretch like crazy he does grow them outdoors in a greenhouse so they do have a lot of room to do their thing. Hope that helps a little. Live-Love-Learn
 
Ok I'm want to take a quick poll. Now if you had access to a THC-CBD/ Cannabis analysis machine how much would you feel comfortable paying to get your complete print out of all the cannabanoids in the w Ed you just grew? I'm looking into getting a testing Machine and want to see if it's worth it to purchase one. Live-Love-Learn

Very adorable look into it the machine runs about $600 it tests thc%-cbd% and 20 other cannabanoids%. There's a $60 part on it that gets replaced every 6 months to maintain accuracy. The machine links up to app on your smart phone so you can print out the test results. Personally I would love to have this service available to me at the drop of a dime it only takes about 30mins when all is said and done and you will have a complete analysis of what you just grew! Well here in town there's a lab that runs full potency analysis ( CBG to CBN down the line ) for $40 a sample. They do some bulk rate discounts, but basically it would seem to mean that you'd need at least 12 samples tested on this thing before it paid for itself. I would guess that would be 12 cycles, but then again, you could use the thing to test any kind of bud you want--maybe stuff off the street, etc.

So I mean, if you have the money, it's not exactly a bad investment versus spending the money to have labs analyze it. Plus 30 minutes sounds great, I'm waiting until Sunday to hear back on some results right now.

The other thing to consider is that you could make your money back in no time offering to test for other people you know. I say go for it if you've got the capital and you know it's something you'll use and save money with. If they don't have labs to analyze stuff there, then I'd say go for it for sure, because then you could make your money back lickity-split charging people $10 a pop to test their samples.

I don't have that kind of capital but hell I'd invest in that in a second.

Thank bro that is exactly the response I was looking for!!! The best part is the sample you test goes into a little plastic container like something you would put a little SS card into the sample that is analyzed couldn't weigh more then a .1 of a gram(1/10) lol that is I want d to start a mail order testing site it's not illegal atleast I couldn't see it being but then again the mail is Federal!!! So never mind on the mail or set idea lol. But what I'm getting at is I was think of a way to have people bring me all different types of weed and concentrates and hash to be tested and of course it would have to be sampled also!!!!! To make sure the machine is working rite !!!!! Lol so I'm really considering investing into this machine. I could be a mobile WEED TESTER the best job in the world!!! Live-Love-Learn !!!!!!

Yeah it kind of sucks I had to give them 2 grams to test! They also wanted an extra $20 for terpene analysis. No thanks, I AM a terpene analyzer. Mmm...

Terpene profiling is something that should be more practiced though, in my opinion. I mean frankly, we all know that we've bought something that was grown in someone's backyard, bought out of a bag from who knows where, and called "OG Kush" or "Jack Herer" or some big A Name strain. It's a classic problem, and terpene analysis would help to fight it because it would give us a general "profile" of what a strain of weed should be. There's been a lot of strains profiled so far, but there's not really a database or anything like that kept, but it has promise for being a way to truly ID strains based on the finished flower.
 
Wow there are so many pages to this post! Lol. Just gonna squeeze a question in here...Is there a safe way to heat a grow cabinet without harming plants or possible fire risk? Maybe a heat lamp or two?
