Are males useless? I was thinking ahead that one day I will have some sprouts that are signifying male... and will be destroyed to avoid pollination.

Are the male plants useful for anything? In a salad? Juiced?

I know there isn't much THC... what about other cannabinoids?

Not always no, but more or less, they do. It's not uncommon a grower will gradually harvest a crop from top to bottom to allow the lower buds to further develop.
A plant that has reached full maturity should have ripe buds top to bottom.
Plenty of variables to consider; indoor / outdoor? Geographic location? Strain, Sa/Ind?

End of the day, harvest time effects taste, yield and Cannabanoid levels. Play around with strains and taste until you find the sweet spot.

You could make some rope... .
If hemp made good salads I would think it'd be common knowledge, but I would be interested in reading your "Hemp & Quinoa" recipe and review.

Unless you want to gather and collect the pollen for future breeding, males aren't useful in the garden.
 
....6-8 small colas still developing. I was thinking an extended harvest. ..only one plant. I'll Keep checking THE trichs. Thanks, your answer was reassuring.

I cut down my males & made cannabutter from them, then baked cookies~ I suffer from neuropathy among other things, but it helps me sleep & alleviates my pain enough to be productive and feel human~ no brain freeze, but i feel relief as if I was using cbd oil. Just be sure to decarb first~ good luck!

Planning to flower soon going to ease into a bloom feed 10 days before flower.
Did 2 N feedings and over dosed on second one so planning to go very light on the bloom

I would top them, or bend them over & tie them to the pots. Also i would strip all foilage, below about the 3rd. node. And don't give them anymore N, till the leaves start showing a lighter green. they going outside ?? :surf:
 
Hi there, just joined up on the website and growing some half done plants, only two all setup, they having been going well, then after 2 weeks the bottom half of the plants are going yellow? And ideas? I'm thinking it's nitrogen deficiency because i haven't put any nutrients in them, and not been using room temp water, the top half of the plants are amazing, one of the bottom half of the plants, all the yellow leafs have fell off and new dark green ones are growing back, thanks for all help and replies, can put pictures on if allowed.

Nice one king Joe need to be able to house between 3 and 5 papaya seedlings by nirvana got a small 600 x 600 x 600 there growing in at this moment just need to get then a bigger home to stretch out when there ready. Is it a bad idea to move them in to sun light then back into the tent can this stress them out.

Autos can take light stress or leaks better then a photo. If your going to do that introduced sunlight slowly to them and see how they respond. FYI I do it all the time. With autos. Lol
