Kingjoe83 it'll be awhile until the smoke report but it's been smelling so good for quite awhile now. Only my first grow but quite impressed with the plant.

When y'all measure your feeding water ph level, how to y'all clean it off afterwards? Distilled water, tap water? I can calibrate mine but after about 4 feedings it's off. My seedlings are showing signs of ph lockout, and I have a pretty good feeling it's my damn ph pen.

I know that is why ph perfect by advance nutrients is awesome for us beginners.

Nice keep me posted. Curious .

Hello, new grower here, well i tried before but didn't make it that far due to lack of research, but i've researched for a good 6 months now and i feel like i kinda know what i'm doing!

So i have assembled a mini grow box for i am going for a stealth grow. My box is 33 inches tall and 2 feet long and about a foot deep. I made it this small due to lack of area but i'm thinking this would work!

I was hoping someone on here could help me with my choice on ventilation, i want to use pc fans with a diy carbon filter attached but i don't want to get a set of pc fans that aren't strong enough to blow though the diy carbon filter. The lights i am planning on using are cfl's, i am planning on getting a 4 way adapter and running 1 cfl and gradually moving up the amount of bulbs as needed. here are a few picture of the bulbs i got

I put them next to a solo cup for comparison, hoping someone could help me out! i'm planning on getting the general hydroponics trio line along with cal-mag and a ph kit. also a clip on fan for ventilation inside the box! sorry for such a long question, but if you read this far, thank you for your time and i'm looking forward to the expertise on this thread! have a wonderful night folks, i'll be back tomorrow.

You know those foam kids mats like the ones with the alphabet and numbers on them that you put together like a jigsaw puzzle ... to put them under your tent for some insulation from the cold ground .

Of moisture is problrm like me once i month i carefully move tent to one side lift up matts to air them out and wioe to prevent mold or anything bad from coming. Also dehumidifier in basement helps. Keep moisture down

This is essentially my first grow to a Tee. Your lights are fine! 6500k for veg, 2700k for bloom, but you should use them all for bloom to give your girl a fuller spectrum. GH is a good line, I've been using for years. As for air movement, I used a Cooltron 110 CFM - 120volt AC 120mm fan, and though a little on the loud side, it does move air very well, well enough that it sucked the heat off my 2'x18"x5' box and through a DIY 4" carbon filter. Did you order seeds, or are you using bagseed? Not that it matters much, was just curious. Also, did you start a grow journal yet? Not to just have a place to write stuff you need to remember in the future, but a journal is also a very good way to get attention to your grow and the gear that you use, making for a more individualized situation. I notice, that this thread is very busy and sometimes I see questions getting lost in the sauce, so to speak.

Hi all,
Been snooping around these forums for a while and this seems like the best of the lot so here I am with a couple of questions I'm sure someone here can help with.
Been growing guerrilla outdoor for a while but recently set up indoor tent as I've had to relocate to a colder area. Currently running a 1mx1m with 2 UK cheese in 19L(7 gal) smart pots with Coco/perlite, under 400w MH planning to scrog. They're going incredibly well. I topped the 5th true set 2 weeks ago under advice and they just exploded with growth. At a month from seed they have thumb thick stems and pencil thick branches at every node, and those branches are branching now.
My questions are does anyone know how much stretch I can expect with cheese? How full should the screen be before I switch to flower? And with space a concern would I be better doing just one in this tent?
Any tips are much appreciated

Yes, I know exactly now. Thank you. I just got my 1st tent (still in the box) and it will be sitting on a tile floor in my bathroom, sounds like a good idea.

Thanks:) Joe & Worldgrow

Bet that makes a difference then being flat on the floor
I felt it did keep Temps motmre stable surprising also having enough fans in there helped too im sure.

Ok I've pm'd David bowman 3x's with no response so I'm posting this here in hopes that I can get some help feel free to pm me as it'll be easier. Ok I'm on mobile only no pc and for some reason my signature has stopped showing up and in settings it's off and won't let me turn back on also none of my pics have the 420magazine water mark on them and it won't let me change the name of my journal. I've tried everything I know I'm not very savy in the computer dept. so there's that but this is really bothering me and I've been here over a year and I just noticed the signature but who knows how long it's been messed up. Please and thank you all for any and all help. #global420

i was planning on having both lights for flowering so i can have the advantage of more than one spectrum, and i'm looking for a fan that would be very quiet. I was planning on starting a journal after i got everything set up and ready to run, but do you think i should do i now? any quiet suggestions for the fans? and i have multiple different bag seeds that i can choose from, don't have the money to order expensive seeds on the web, even tho i know the genetics would thank me! can you send me a link to your first grow so i could give it a read? thanks for the response!

I rinse with distilled water and store in its solution. Calibrate every week.

How should a pH meter be properly cared for?

Although there are general maintenance techniques for pH meters, each brand and model will have its own requirements. Always follow the directions for your meter and you will enjoy it for a longer time, with fewer issues.

In addition to frequent calibration, properly maintaining the pH sensor will ensure a longer life and more accurate results. Many pH meters incorporate glass sensors and reference tubes that must be stored in specially formulated solutions. If using a handheld meter, the storage solution will often be in the meter's cap. Don't spill this solution ... you need it! For most pH sensors, it's critical that the sensor be stored wet in the appropriate solution.

To clean most pH sensors, rinse in distilled or deionized water. Shake off any excess water and return the sensor to its storage solution.

The majority of pH sensors have a lifespan of approximately 1-2 years. If you are experiencing erratic readings and having difficulty calibrating, it may be time to replace the sensor (or your meter, if the meter doesn't have a replaceable sensor).

Tips and tricks-
Always read the instruction manual prior to use. Sure, the instructions may be boring, but they'll answer your questions, and those answers will protect your investment
Always be sure your pH meter is properly calibratedIf your handheld meter includes a storage solution in the cap, store the meter upright for more effective saturation
Never touch a sensor electrode or reference cell with your fingers: skin oils will affect readings and can permanently damage a pH sensor
Always lightly swirl a meter in the water or solution to dislodge any trapped air bubbles
Never store a pH meter in high heat or humidityNever store a pH sensor in distilled water
A pH meter is a sensitive scientific instrument and should always be treated as such
