I don't see any signs of male yet either. U r probably good brother.Guys I need help does it look like my plant hermaphrodite? My timer got messed up in my lights didn't shut off last night when they were supposed to.
Would you guys generally recommend something like a happy frog fert or liquid nutes such as fox farm blossom formula for flowering?
Its maleI'm worried because they look stacked up already but I don't see hairs quite yet and from what I understand you should see a white hair before they build up on top of each other
Recently completed my first "successful" grow. Utilized a slew of FoxFarm products including the HappyFrog soil. There is a sweet feeding schedule on their web site which I followed closely.
Hey, sorry to bug y'all again. I got the ph up and down and all of my girls have had one watering of 6.5 ph water. They have all perked up and are showing new growth, but the tips of one are starting to yellow, and the helmet head has new growth coming in lighter green.. I'm thinking it's still from the ph issue or they are hungry for nutes. (40% ffof,40% soilless seed starter, 20% perlite) They are 11 days old.Ok sounds good, drop the ph some and see what happens. Post if anything changes.
Thanks, sizz0e! I work from home so the watering isn't an issue. Soil tested around 7.5, so I was trying to lower it a bit.. and I heard the ffof was hot for seedlings so I mixed it with starter/perlite.. (definitely won't do it again, lol) I will start with a very lite feeding and see what happens. ✌40% FFOF should be enough nutes for them. I try and keep my water closer to 6.8. I wouldn't mess with the soiless seed starter stuff. That might be what's going on. 40% of that soiless stuff might be the culprit. I'd try the quarter nutes tho. Maybe there isn't enough of the FFOF stuff. I use the whole line of FF. But never the soiless stuff, as I'm lazy and don't really have time to water on the daily.
I used a dehumidifier because I live in a costal area. My humidity runs around 65 to 70 ish in my house with central a/c running. I felt I needed the RH to be slightly lower to avoid any possible mold issues. Also I believe it helps to avoid certain pest that like humidity.Hey guys I appreciate all the help thus far, I have another question as it relates to room prep for flowering. I've hard in various threads that using a dehumidifier can be helpful and stresses the plant "the right way". Was wondering if anyone could advise?
Me too!! Just got my 1st tent and I'm packing up the poor bathtub and moving on up! I love this forum. It provides everything we need to know..and I've only touched the surface of the info 420 provides. You came to the right place then. I learned so much on my first grow from the people here. And now here I am with a tent in flower, and another tent ready to flip on the 10th of this month, 2 days from now, and a bunch of mason jars with 7.6 oz curing.
Patience is the hardest to learn lol. You will do fine my friend
I decided to shut her down for a few months. It seems like the bugs would have a field day during the summer...where I live anyway. And I even have central a/c. I have pets that insist I open and close the backdoor 900 x's a day which would provide a free taxi ride for 900 different bugs right to the grow. So I'm on summer break. Just not sure how long I can hold out! LolTruer word were never spoken !! And environment is the most important, and the one that is most difficult to control, depending on where you live. And most people overlook the importance of keeping the environment dialed in, and I was one of those. and I don't care what anyone says, growing during the summer mos., is a very difficult task, if not impossible, without air conditioning. And you're only as good as your light, number 1 on top of every growers most important list !! And that big FREE light in the sky is still the best light !!
