Peat is like coco in regards to Cal. reduce to 1ml per gal. Keep an eye on your girls. By week 6 to 8 you will know if you need to adjust or your spot on. ☺

I have to say it depends on the strain, i leave lots of lower popcorn on and make hash or oil with popcorn and trim

It depends on what you want, the more light that hits your buds the more big they will become.. but if u keep multiple bud sites that get low light, they will keep "drawing" nutrients and energy that can be used on other buds that have more potential.
I believe that in the end the results are pretty much the same, maybe a bit better if u remove them but i am not sure.. good luck with whatever you choose

Way to early to say with 100% accuracy. How old is the plant.
You will find a lot of good information within these forums. Also check out website's like 420, grow weed easy, YouTube tutorials are a good start.
When you get to the point of a specific technique that you want to try. Come back and ask away.
Check out Stinky Snid, he has tutorials here at 420 on topping and lst that got me started training effectively. May have to go to web view to access them quickly from his signature.

Leave them alone. The majority of the whole "defoliating" trend that's all the rage, especially for tent growers, isworthless. If you're using SCROG method, then remove the leaves below the canopy. If you're growing a plant with a natural profile, it's best to leave it alone. If someone thinks they're "not getting enough light" the first thing I'd tell them to do, is get rid of the cheap (imo horrible) Chinese "1,000,000 watt" LED lights & buy HIDs. A simple 400w HPS HID throws TONS more usable light than any POS entry level LED will, and really doesn't produce heat that can't be easily managed.
Money it's an issue for me, so i can't just upgrade like this. But thank you for the opinion, i will probably keep them like you said, i don't want to risk stunning them
