Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

Congratulations Ase! Can’t wait to see a big ol pile of ATF! And congratulations on the journal honor! I don’t know if I mentioned it here or in my journal, but a google search for training methods led me to this journal and to 420mag! So for me this journal led to meeting a bunch of great people and getting my grow to harvest successfully! Thanks for being a good teacher and for laying out a path for a bunch of us now. I’m high on the blue Dream right now in fact!!!:passitleft:Thanks for THAT! Lol

I had no idea! I know Newty has told me she has googled quadlining and my journal pops up but I guess I never even tried to see what would happen if I searched. For this journal to come up under a general search like training methods is even cooler. Well I'm glad I could help. Now look at you ;)

Day 1 Multistrain (and some harvest pics)

Pretty much to make a long story short, I was so tired after trimming last night that I shoved the Multistrains in their new tent and didn't get to transplant them. I forgot to set the timer to veg and since these were going to be flipped ASAP anyways, I'm just going to go with it. So today is Day 1 for these girls. I was able to transplant them to the new homes today and I will give them a strong feeding tonight.

The Durban Poison (Left) is huge for being in that little pot. I bend all 4 of the mains down and hopefully it will cause the nodes to stretch a bit and not the main colas to make it a little more even. The other two I am just going to let go as they are Indicas and I don't think they will stretch all that much anyways. The Aurora Indica is in the back and the Honeysuckle is in the front. These girls have been through hell and I'm ready to see what they can do in their new homes, both the tents and the pots. Also you can see I have gotten rid of my racks and drain table. I'm going back to saucers for this one and hoping to keep the plants healthy with almost no runoff. I've done pretty well with the ATF clones and Panama.

Do not let your roots get like this! I should have transplanted these a month ago but not enough space to do it.

A couple of shots of the harvest from last night. The first is just the overall structure of the plant and it shows how many main colas there were from training them against the net. This harvest I cut each cola off and hung it in the tent. The second pictures shows that. The tent they are in is a 2'x4'x4' and the colas hang about halfway down the tent. It's a pretty cool sight to see. Going to be some good numbers.

Congrats on the win and the oodles of ATF, yer gonna like it

Thanks CS! I'm loving the way they are smelling as they dry. I can't wait to get them jarred up and marinating. I love a great sativa and these have all the makings so far of being one. Honestly though, these ATF clones I have in 3 gallons are what I am really waiting for. They look incredible.

Hey Ase! Beautiful harvest great job! The Durban and ATF are coming along lovely !

Can’t wait to watch these girls come In for you!

I am coming to an end of my first white widows and going to be flipping my Early Miss plants. That being said the next beans that I pop I am joining #thequadsquad ! I will be picking your brain and a few others I know to help me along that journey!

Happy green days my friend and I hope all is well for you !

Can’t wait to see that! When do you think you’ll be popping those beans? Decided the strains yet?

Top of the morning mr.Ase and congrats on a worthy win... That's a crazy ATF haul I can't imagine the trim hell you were in but well done for doing it.....
Yeah. I wouldn't want that job of trimming that haul. It would take me days.

Yeah this trimming is taking forever but I’m almost done. With the scrog net on I had a much harder time doing my typical defoliations so lots more to trim this time. Too bad there wasn’t a way to make trimming actually fun.

Good evening mr.Ase I hope this finds you well. May I share my quad with you and everyone else that is interested....

So I've managed to keep an even canopy on her so far which I'm happy about so far. There were 2 upright branches on the 2nd pic which I had to bend back inwards towards the stem as they grow faster than I anticipated... She has been in flowering for close on 4 weeks now and been outdoors since 1 Sept which I realise I should only have put her out now in October.....

So she is going to reveg hopefully as I'm upping her nitrogen intake to help her reveg sooner hopefully so I can see what I'm dealing with when she starts branching.. I'm having close to 13 hrs daylight so this will be an all season project. When would you advise an upscale in pot size as I'm thinking once she's finished revegging ... Sorry if too many questions but it's most appreciated......

Next week gunna pop a few beans!! And I’ve got a few in mind!
-Pineapple Express Auto - Barney’s farm

And I was going to run my pink grapefruit but I want to wait till I can give her a full 18/6 all the way through so I’m going to throw another bean down which one is to be determined lol ! I’ve got a great collection and more coming by weeks end so i will know by this weekend! I also have a buddy who I am starting a couple for so we will see where that takes me haha !!

Whew! Just got all caught up, subbed up and ready to see more from you! I appreciate how you describe the small changes (amber hairs, milky trichomes, etc) to know what stage the girls are at and what the next steps will be. Helps me know where I’m at and what to look for next. Congrats on JOTM, I’m learning a lot from it, so I’m not surprised at all! I’m on the edge of my seat to hear the final weight for this latest set!

I think you have the right idea on everything Smeegol. Thanks for sharing. Good example of keeping things really low and letting it get vertical. I haven't done much re-vegging ever so I can't really help there but I've seen many people do it and have success.
