Ase's Multi-Strain Quadlining In Coco

Looooking Great!

Trunks are the best:D

I love that scaling and thanks for the info, I had no idea about that. I learn something everytime we hang out;)

SO I just got my hands on a few ATF! I cannot wait to see the show now:)

Day 23 ATFs

I had to move the lights in the ATF tent up. They are now up as high as I can pretty much get them. I could squeeze another 6 inches of height out of them but really don't want to. Dang they stretched like crazy. The 3 big ones are really starting to get their buds going. The back right one is still stretching a bit. I will likely do a large defoliation on the 3 big ones either later today or tomorrow. I will also do a little bending and maybe tying of the really tall colas to the net with tomato wire or a zip tie to keep them down a little bit. I'd like for things to be more even than it is currently but you can never quite tell how that is going to play out until stretch is over.

Stretching like they do brother. They should be close to slowing down soon Ase. They look great brother. You should get a nice yield from them!

5 gallon pots as well as them being super sativa = massive plants. Honestly probably could have filled the net with just two of them in that big of pots and kept it a little lower. This is why having adjustable equipment is key. I did my defoliation and bent some branches and I’m pretty happy with how everything looks again. It’s amazing how much I keep taking off during defoliations. Leaves and small branches that I know won’t be big enough. It’s like a bucketful each week.

That's the same thing I would see everyone I defoliated them! Like I did nothing!

I just took this picture. If you look at the picture from my last update it really looks like I hardly did anything. A lot of the defoliation was right at the net or below but probably a 5 gallon bucket of leaves gone and I can barely tell. I did bend the colas into better spacing and so they were all even but other than that it just looks the same to me. I think I'm going to boost the back right one with something so it's at the same level as the others and raise the net a bit for support. These long colas are going to need it and there is no way I'm tying them all up individually.

Put a second net above the first. Oh, looks good.

Yeah I should have some of the standard nylon stuff lying around that most people use when scrogging. It'll work well for a support net. I used that in my first grow thinking I was scrogging and I should have some left from that because I switched to my current net pretty early on.

This grow I am using a silica enhancer so I'm hoping that will help when the buds get really large.

Found ya. I'm watching, but will take me some time to catch up.

Most of the good info is in the very beginning. I tried to make it that way on purpose so if people don't want to look through the other pages then they will know what to do just by reading the first few. Let me know if you have any questions or clarifications Kronox! Glad to have you here.

Day 25 ATFs Flower

I decided to put the back right plant on a wire rack that I had and now it is about the same height as all the others. Canopy is really even all around now and I'm glad I raised the plant in the end. It was pretty tough to do without breaking anything but no major damage to be found.

Before the boost.

After the boost. You'll notice the main difference is you can see plant material in the back right corner now. They are all pretty much done stretching now so this should stay nice and even from here on out. The other minor difference is that I raised the net a bit when I raised the one plant. I'll have to do a little more defoliation as there is now some shrubbery below the net but I'll do that another day.

Girlfriend is doing so well with her CBDreams. I talked to a dispensary guy the other day and he said 1:1 is the most popular topical and it flies off the shelf. These are 1:1 so now I am really excited to make creams and oils with them.

Good job here! I m like you and don't like to see things uneven. I know how hard it is to make adjustments when the tent has many branches in it! I broke a bud site last time by accident

Best way to do this would have been to grow a mother plant and clone off of it and then use the clones to do the net. I would have known they were all female for sure and they all should grow relatively the same. Either way I'm pulling it off doing it this way and I think I will see some monster colas down the road.

I've been doing a lot of bending and tying them to the net so the larger ones stay down a bit. Also boosting the one in the back helped. I'm glad I have learned a number of little tricks to keep everything even. I think I'm probably the most picky on this whole website on trying to keep things even. It's a huge part of my training so light and airflow can get to all the buds evenly. Glad to hear you have the same pickiness as it is key to quadlining.
