Arrows not working properly

... the site is loading very slowly, to the point of frustration and giving up on waiting for photos to display.
I had the same problem back about a month ago. Photos just would not load and I would see was the photo's file name. I am using FireFox and I noticed that if I right clicked on the msg thread I wanted to look at and select "open in a new tab" that 99% of the time the msgs and the photos would quickly load in that tab and several seconds later would then finish loading in first tab.

I did try all kinds of things like turning ad blockers and cookies on and off. I made sure FireFox was updated. Nothing made the photos load as fast as they had been for the past several years. Made me wonder if there is an overload issue what with users dumping 10 or more photos of the same plant.

Then one day I noticed that the photos were loading like they used to.

Thank you. I've used Firefox in the past. It's not my jam. Most of the website hosts ask me to use Chrome.
I have noticed that banking or business to business types of web sites do say that their sites are designed around the coding used in specific browsers.

I have only seen this kind of thing very rarely. Perhaps it's because of my time zone here in Hawaii that I usually miss the peak usage times on the mainland. I often get online in the evening and access the site, and we are 2 hours earlier than Pacific Time, so my 7:00pm is 9:00pm on the West Coast, and most of the mainland has hit late night.

Look, it's happening now. The photos don't load at all now.

Did they eventually load? Did you have to do anything differently to get them to load?
Happy Sunday! No, I got the shits and gave up trying. Reloading the page didn't help. I have just loaded that page now though and it was fine. I think it is sluggishness and heavy traffic. How does all the data get stored? It's a pretty heavy duty site this!

It's a big ass server with a whole lotta storage.
We are very fortunate that it is here for us. I often think of how grateful I am that 420 Mag exists for us. Phenomenal.

Yes, it's an awesome community, and overall quite nice user interface. I really don't have anyone local that I can connect with in the growing realm—it's all here on this site.
