Arrows not working properly

Just happened again, on this thread...

Sorry, forgive my mirth. I'm just glad someone else can say that there is an issue and it's not a virus on my computer ;)

It means that I have to re-enter all of my usernames and passwords for the dozens of sites I use weekly for business Roy.
I think you're already aware by now but that's if you delete cookies, not cache.
although not long ago I saw double arrows
This was fixed some days ago.

But this isn't happening for me in Google Chrome with no ad blocker.

@cbdhemp808 I've seen ad blockers do weird things in the past like blocking editing in a post and stuff like that. Did you turn back ON yours to start experiencing this issue?

I won't be able to track it from you posting thread links. I just need a solid way to reproduce it & your device info.

Try from FireFox on those threads, because I didn't see the issue in this particular thread. That's odd, yeah?
I tried both of your links in the latest version of FireFox while logged in with no extensions and it was fine for me btw.

@Pitmaster @Carmen Ray I didn't tag you guys above, but I'd like an answer from you two as well.
I'm using Chrome on Windows 11. I do use an ad blocker but I disabled it for this site after cbdhemp808 mentioned that could be the cause. I haven't spent enough time browsing after that to know if the problem is solved. It is intermittent I'm afraid to say. It randomly happens when I'm navigating journals. If I reload the page the arrows reappear.

Do you only observe it after making a post without refreshing the page?

I haven't noticed that to be the case. If it happens again I'll note the circumstances.

I am using the FireFox browser with Windows 10 on a 15 year old desktop computer. I do not use the little up and down arrows so did not pay any attention to them until this thread started. Norton does not mention any computer virus.

Since then I have noticed is that the arrows show up as soon as I move the mouse wheel or the button in the slider bar on the right side of the opened window. Then the arrows disappear in about 4 to 5 seconds.. If I stay on the page they will re-appear if I use the scroll wheel which makes the slide bar button move or click anywhere on the slide bar running along the right edge of the window as long as it makes the the button move. Five seconds later they disappear. Just clicking on the button without it moving does not cause the arrows to re-appear.

It does not matter whether AdBlocker is on or off. Tried it both ways.

This sounds like it is working the way it is intended. The arrows only show up when you use the slider bar and then they hide away when not in use. I think that is what you are saying? It's a great feature. I really like it.

Hi. I just made a post that included photos and the arrows disappeared. When I refreshed they returned.

It's hard to reproduce but I think this may be related to another bug I'm aware of.

@Marc Ocean , if we can use this thread to highlight other issues, I'll offer another.

When I click on my avatar at the top of the page, then Bookmarks, then type something in the "Filter by label" field, the results used to drop down the page, but now they go up and out of view. And I'm not able to scroll up to find the bookmark I want to reference. :hmmmm:

I'm guessing your screen's height is low and you have a lot of similar labels that fills the autocomplete?

What happens when you scroll down? Does it start to show up?

Yes, correct.

When I scroll the entries jump around like they want to scroll, but don't move in the end.

And, when I start to type a word, the suggestions are above the field rather than below as they were previously.
This is how it's designed, unfortunately.

You can ignore the suggestions and just type out what you're looking for. You'll at least see the closest match.
