Arctic Bowl's 1st Ever Attempt At A Grow Journal

Got a few pics of the girls this morning, they seem to be enjoying the extra room and they are starting to show some flower action. Flip + 15 so they are starting to get there groove on :-) Even the Malawi is showing some pretty good action which surprises me a bit but, we’ve had a couple slow poke Lilly girls that stayed WEEKS BEHIND the others so still on track for next Xmas harvest :rofl:

Girls got a Brix this morning and will get straight water in the AM, room is holding humidity like never before. We fought the hell out of humidity last year but now with no tents and the Panda plastic we can hold the humidity really really well. Use to have to fill the humidifier ever single day, now we can get 4-5 days out of the 6 gallon unit, same unit we had to fill every day in the tent.......very good job Dabs ! ;-)

Okay so you do normally water with regular water? Always was curious about that... then you do a drench thing to every so often right?

Plants are looking really nice! Lots of bud sites everywhere. Probably something to do with the environment ..

I alternate a drench ( trans or growth mixed with tea) then water, some do 2 straight waters then a drench. I do a Brix spray about every 7 days......give or take a day sometimes. Very rarely do I spray with de-stress or what ever the new name is lol. Most the time the plants look pretty good but I do give them a de-stress the day before flip, just for shits and giggles.......mostly use it as a insurance Incase they feel a lil stress during flip, not required mind you just what I do.

Yep let's do it! Not sure what your schedule is like for new years weekend here, but the wife mentioned wanting to get together if you and miss J are avalible? Maybe we can grab a pizza or something just have some drinks and visit. Let me know what you think.

Some of the strains Neiko , Ziggs , Doc and a couple others have grown out take a good 4+ months to properly finish. Some of those could have gone longer too,...yikes. Anyhow , have a great day PW , D and J , Dabbs , and friends.:high-five:

Found our lil mailbox thief :-) stupid to steal in a lil podunk hick town ya know :rofl: I went to this yard birds house tonight an turned around in his driveway, of course I blew the horn so he knows, I know where he lives :rofl: Dabs got the info on his ass as well as the rest of the lil wolf pac :rofl: sucks when karma jumps right up and kicks ya right dead in the throat :-) Sure hope he had a high quality electrical inspection done, hate for a wire to be undersized and lose that causes a fire or something terrible like that around the holidays, that would be no fun for him at all I’m guessing. Just think it’s great to know exactly where this POS resides at now. Games ain’t as fun to play when your getting your ass handed to ya.....figuratively speaking :rofl:

Took a few pics tonight of the GR. Even started shaving some legs.......yea I know, very late but oh well, all in due time :-) Grabbed 2 bails of promix so sometime this weekend they will get mixed up an start the cook for the next round......in May:rofl: well I hope not but :rofl:

Flowers are starting to get with the program now, next weekend or so they will all get a dose of recharge and then a Cat drench with tea.

Look better Duggs????

Tested the caps out last night, still take 1.5-2 hrs to kick in good but a very nice buzz and a lil residual buzz this morning which is nice :rofl: now I have to say I’m a light weight for a buzz so results will vary for sure. I’ll see if I can talk Dabs into testing some out and he can give his thoughts on them as well. I do enjoy them though, not so intense that it’s unpleasant at all just a nice deep head/body buzz :-)

Hope to get things sent out next week to you guys for the late new year gift :-) got busy this week so I didn’t make it to the post office to grab the priority mail envelopes/box’s, sorry bout that but we’ll make it up to yas with a lil extras

I strip them much more than you. I'm beginning to understand why Doc does his branches so severely. All that clutter below 12" from the top just takes longer to clean up at harvest. There's a spot on each branch where you can tell that all the major production is gonna be above that point. I'm training myself to be as ruthless as Doc and strip all the lower growth off.

I'd bet all my future grows that it'll result in better yields, after I master the technique. I know it'll mean everything I harvest will be top-of-the-line in quality. I'm getting tired of popcorn. Buds make better oil.
 
Well, things are looking very , very cool in this GR! I like how all your pots are full to the brim and basically how you are cultivating. Your lighting is something special too, very cool set up D! For those wondering just how to 'shave the legs' on their plants. here's a good way to decide how much to take off. SS , you may already be doing this .
Treat each branch separately....follow the branch/es up from where they join the main stalk....trim off ALL the lil crap, suckers, tiny branches and fluff all the way up the branch , right to about 12-18 inches from the canopy. This way all that lil crap won't get in your way when harvesting and energy will be put into the buds that 'matter'. This practice i consider 'pruning'. Some would call it 'defoliating' or 'lollipopping', same , same!

I’m sure we will get there, I’m just a bit of a chicken shit :rofl: don’t really trim off like I see a lot of folks do but that’s just me, do trim some but just haven’t made it to the trim most every leave off thing yet.......maybe in a few more grows or next grow :rofl: depends on if I get my shit together better by then or not :-)
We just cut all the popcorn off an put it in a tin tray with a cover and put them in the freezer until we make oils or butter.......lol which reminds me......got two cookies waiting for me in the refrigerator that would go really well with my F it morning additude:rofl:
 
I'm gettin' up tomorrow morning and having my first brownie, and from that point on I'm staying in the upper atmosphere the entire day.
