Arctic Bowl's 1st Ever Attempt At A Grow Journal

Thank you all :-) and we hope for a very special 2018 for you as well.
Dabs was kind enough to lend a hand yesterday and we got some soil mixed up and cooking......end of Jan we can start some new beans in 1st run soil :thumb::high-five: :cheertwo: can't wait for this next round to happen :circle-of-love: should be some fun lol, gonna have plants going and installing a mini split this spring so that should be interesting :rofl: one of the folks we help out is a electrical contractor so I'm hoping I can get most everything done between the indoor and outdoor unit so he can just get power out to the outdoor unit and we will be good to go. I'm still trying to figure the best location for my outdoor unit, would love to mount it inside so I can run it year round if needed but then there's the heat issue from the condenser so not 100% sold on it being indoors but it's an option if I can vent the space to the outdoors or just put it outdoors and call it good. Anyhow I'll get a few pics up from yesterday in a bit here, Dabs helped us play musical plants yesterday as well, had to move a few to the outside of the room and some smaller girls to the center. Then Dabs adjusted the lights down on the center plants......didn't even need a ladder the show off :rofl: had some fun shooting the breeze and laffing, the Malawi girls are getting kinda large :rofl: and the rest are growing as well but holly cow.......lmfao I'm thinking the Malawi 500 stands for how tall they are going to be :rofl: 500 gerbil wangs tall or was that 500 feet, can't remember:rofl: or 500 days :rofl:

Lil update from yesterday, just some random pics of the room after Dabs helped us out moving plants an mixing dirt. We moved the bigger gals to the walls so when it’s time to support them we can just nail their ass to the walls :rofl:

I haven't paid close enough attention to identify your charges, other than the Malawi I'm chasing, but I was wondering if you're growing anything purple? Beta-caryophyllen has been identified as being particularly useful for both chronic pain (moreso if combined with CBD) and for the treatment of arthritis, since it seems to have effects on inflammation similar to CBD. Beta-caryophyllen activates the CB2 receptor, something only our endogenous cannabinoids, THC and CBD do, to our knowledge. Of course, we're having to reinvent the wheel. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was thinking some DDA genetics could find their way to your soil without much effort. It's a fast-turnaround with a decent oil pull, and makes a smokable product that the ladies typically take a liking to. Canna can't indulge because she gets too wired. It's quite the motivating chemovar. It's one that won't shoot your motivation in the foot, as Rifleman once so eloquently expressed it. :laughtwo: It lacks CBD, but that can be blended in.

Anyway, you know how to track me down to make arrangements, if you're interested. Regardless, get something purple with CBD going in that luscious soil. Make 2018 a year of colorful meds. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Lol, we just have a lil township tree farm, where you on the other hand have the National Forest :rofl: I’m not ready to be promoted to Forest Ranger like you Sue Lmao. This Malawi 500 should be a kick in the ass though, I’ve heard some things on the Malawi that sound interesting as far as it being a strong buzz :-) so we’re looking forward to at least giving it a try. If it turns out that it’s a good strong buzz then I’m hoping we can cross it with something that’s a fast finisher with a hi THC/terpenoids just for fun, would like to see the ATF do well and get it into this mix if the ATF is really the one I remember from the 80’s, if it is it was a sticky girl back then and packed a good punch :-)

Anyhow, the frost is beginning on Lilly and Malawi so that’s a good thing. Lol we didn’t have things all that figured out before these changes so.................

And a few random shots of things, girls got a nice big transplant +tea drench tonight and will get a Brix spray in the morning. This weekend they will get recharge and a Cat+tea drink and then the frost monster will be turned on and they should really step up there game.

Thanks Rooster, as long Dabs sticks around for adjusting the lights I’m golden lol.......or I’ll need the ladder :rofl: we’re loving the boards so far (2nd flower using them just more of them this round ) and one more quad 550 that we haven’t fired off yet ( need my sparky lol, gotta get a couple dedicated 20 amp circuits so it won’t trip the damn breaker)
If your considering the QB’s try a PM to GrayTail you’ll be glade you got in touch with him, plus he’s smart on sizing drivers like a few others on the Mag.....I’m not one of those smart ones on sizing drivers so get with some of these sharp folks for that Gray, Buck, Shiggs and I’m sure plenty more but it’s a good starting point.

Thanks for the kind words as well Rooster, we did the tent thing and they are good but I’m getting to old to be effin around in tents, when they need water I just want to water and get out , not crawl around in the tent looking for the best way to get in and water.

Way cool you have your better half on the Mag now too!! Mine does Facebook stuff ( I think it’s a waste of time but that’s just me......and do people really need to freakin know every time you wipe ur ass?) and I do the Mag, Ms J will come read things from time to time and helps out with all our projects so I can’t complain one bit. Plus she puts up with my crazy ass :rofl:

Heya J thanks for dropping by our lil cluster and thank you for the kind words. This is our 1st go at the room concept instead of tents, I can say if you can do a room you won't be disappointed, best thing we have done so far. Just makes things easier to get to and get around, I'd like to get some rollers for the pots for the next run but we will see how that goes.

Hey ya Dabs lol hell yes it’s great having a giant around :rofl: so awesome of you to help out brother, We truely do appreciate your help!!! This weather has been crazy this winter but we’ll take it that’s for sure, if we can blast thru these next two months or so we should be looking good. Glad it didn’t snow, we can let Duggs have the snow and cold for awhile.......just because we want to share and not be greedy with our winter temps :rofl: love ya Duggs!! ;-)

Girls are looking pretty good I think, gave them a Trans drench to make sure the roots are talking good before they get the recharge and cat drench, few leaves were looking a bit yellow so they needed it I’m thinking. Nice thing is with several strains going hopefully they won’t all finish at the same time because that would be a lot of chopping to do :rofl: I’d have to fly a few folks in for harvest weekend I’d think. But it would be a stoner feast and we could get multiple thoughts on how the bud is and if this Malawi is really all that an a bag of chips or not :-)

I'm sitting at a toasty 19 degrees F and heading out for a walk. Haven't been out in days to do more than dash across the street. I'm going a little stir crazy. :laughtwo:

Check the big box hardware stores. They sell some neat little dollies that'd fit under each pot. Somewhere around here I have one. You'd think I'd be able to keep track of my belongings in 725 sq ft after culling 80% of my belongings, but you'd be sadly mistaken in assuming such. :laughtwo: If I come across it I'll share a picture.
