Hey chom, sorry I missed this. The iron works incredibly well. The snails try to pass over it and dry out in their shells. It doesn't water in at first. It swells up and remains on the surface.

Thanks Gee, yes I am getting a hit of coffee when I walk in the flat and I don't know if that is the plant of residual coffee smells. I think it is the plant. I've smelt coffee on one other plant before. Lovely weed smells in the place.Gorgeous Carmen!. Are they smelling much yet?

The beer works but they have to find it first and you have to keep topping up. I recommend the iron above all other methods.

The two with the tails have been soaking since 30 Oct. The rest since 4th Nov. I'll leave them to soak some more and see if anything changes.

Some progress pics. Pistils starting to change color on RR1. I wonder if this pheno will go purple like the outside RR2 has done.
Looking tops chom. Those seeds have likely drowned by now. Throw them in the garden and maybe something will pop up but I would say they are done. Unfortunately. Sun's out. Have a super day yo.

I doubt they drowned though. I poured the contents of the shot glass onto paper towel and put that in a Tupperware container next to the heat mat. They've been like this for days. I'm just going to leave them as is and see if they take.
Apologies, I saw you said soaking so thought they were in water or very wet for 4 days. fingers crossed.

It's been a back and forth, no wonder it's confusing. For the past two nights they've been in the tupperware. Before that they were in a shot glass with a paper towel over them. It has been a back and forth for the ones I put in on 30th. The second lot have been first in the shot glass and then in the tupperware only. Those tails look strong. They don't look like they are starting to decompose. I'm fascinated, curious and stubborn a.f. I'll keep this up for a while yet

Why not plant those? I've never waited for more than that before I bury my seeds.

I'm with Shed. Plant them and they either live or you don't want them anyways. Some myco in the soil might aid the process.
Pretty sure I'm in a different camp on this situation....
I'd throw them shits in the trash & be sure to never buy seeds from the company.
Funny thing about comparative grows is that they can show the best of the best from a company, but also show all the shortcomings.

I always like to have a cm long tail at least, but I did follow your advice. I've nothing to lose.

I am with you on this Preston but for the sake of my stubborn determination I'm going to give them a chance in some soil and see if they take
I have already invested so much time in this I may as well see if their taps develop in myco and soil.Skunk Weed!!
50 % starter mix to LOS. This mix was dampened weeks ago in preparation for the seeds, so I expect that the micro herd are already busy. I made a couple of holes with a pencil and added a pinch of myco to encourage the taps to grow.
I keep the solo pots in plastic baggies to keep the medium moist and the environment humid for the seeds to sprout. I open the bags to breath as soon as the sprouts break dirt. I keep the open bags around the new sprouts to protect them from the fan, and open the bag up as the sprouts grow.

They sent it “Surface Overland” but my shipping client buddies reckoned that it should have been here a week ago. My Mum sent me a new UK Driving License by “Airmail” yeah right for £2.20! 30th June arrived on Monday… 4 months! I’m going to buy some more seeds for that tent because I want it in use asap.
I’m going get shafted on tax as well. The 420 T-Shirt and mug were $30 - based on what was in Absorber's package this will be easily double that so they don’t pop I might not be so jolly positive!

Are you not allowed to receive a certain value in gifts?I think & Co once paid some nominal amount of tax on a Christmas card my Mum sent. Said it was too big or something. So no! I once paid $80 for a box of my own socks, garments they really go after. Books only paid $25. It was funny because the books were my collection of First Edition, Tintin’s, Easton Ellis Ballards and some other stuff. Single books are worth more than the whole box of socksOh no
