Hah! I'm having the best time watching this grow! A hairless pheno - so cool in so many ways. How do you suppose it gets fertilized with defective pistils? Fascinating how genes work. And the guy said it had a good punch, too.

This is something I haven't seen in three years of haunting this site daily. What a treasure!

Hey Gray! Glad you are enjoying it. Too bad I mistook the 1st one I grew (from seed) as a male and culled it. I'm pulling in a quote from where you found more info about it below since it was pretty much spot on but I was also doing some research, trying to find some pics of a similar money maker but couldn't find any. What I did find is that a bunch of people were talking bad about the "breeder" Strain Hunters, basically saying they were douche bags and their genetics were hermie prone. So far this money maker is packing on way more frost than her sister, Special Kush and the buds are thick and firm. The true test will come once she is chopped and cured.

Gray that is a gorgeous plant. Really interesting to see something like this. I have never seen anything like it

Hey Duggan! Yes, the seeds were feminized and I purchased them through Herbies. The breeder is Strain Hunters, see my comment above to Gray about what I read on the Infernet. I can't confirm or deny but no hermies so far, no pistils but lots of resin! One other thing to note about the strain is the stems are really thin and weak, I need to get some support in there ASAP. Meanwhile her sister Special K has some pretty thick stems. Below is a quote from earlier in this journal from Gray which shows that others got similar results but I couldn't find any pics. Also, I've been getting severe tacoing, added epsom salt and WAX10 and still tacoing. I have 2 clones in veg now so will try to add those things before the problem arises.

I just checked out seedfinder to see what other growers may have said about the odd buds and guess what ... ?

"have a truly beautiful phenotype. Never seen anything like it. Very few pistils and extremely high calyx ratio. The pistils are hardly visible once mature. Its all calyx! Very nice, tall, full head trichome formation on on the sugar leaves. The other pictures I've seen look nothing like it. Its very distinguishable. It is a regen of a failed plant so the growth structure is different than from seed but I regenerated it after getting like 2 grams of the most unique looking bud I've ever seen (12.04.2017, 13:12)"

Another one said it wasn't a very stable strain ...

So maybe you have something special (and also probably a PIA ). PotChimp has been running a GDP project, and he's into F3 now I think, and he's had "curly haired" phenos ... dunno ...

Brothers I am all for having something unique and special and that MM has it no idea why people would put it down. It looks great and frosty like Christmas, we will need the full smoke report on this one Ween 1 page essay on how high you can get, LoL

Hey Pat! the put down I found on the Infernet was towards the breeder Strain Hunters. I will have my 1 patient, my gf, do a smoke report for me. I only very rarely smoke so will probably just get as blasted from 1 hit than from anything else I smoke which is only what I grow.

I can smoke these virtual doobies all day long!

+55 and the money maker is starting to produce some nanners, they're pretty small but I quickly spotted 5 or 6. I was planning on letting her go 2-3 more weeks but am wondering if I should chop sooner?

The special kush definitely has 2-3 weeks or so to go. They're both still drinking quickly. 1.5 gallons every 3 days.

I don't consider nanners a big problem - so you might gets few seeds, less than a dozen - I wouldn't harvest early to avoid picking a few seeds out of a grinder.

Do go ahead and pull the nanners you see. If you catch them when they are green no chance of seeds.

I've only had nanners on 2 clone lines - neither one has a second wave of nanners, and they didn't get them every time.

Thanks guys! I picked off the ones I found and saw some others that were really too small to pick off yet so will keep an eye out and keep picking em off.

I didn't know there would be so few seeds. Not really worried about that but the buds are getting huge and the plants is having a hard time holding them up, the trichs are mostly cloudy with some clear so I'm feeling a week to 10 days may be a good time to harvest. This will give me a chance to get 1 or 2 GEs in. They got straight RO last night.

So what color are they when they release pollen? The nanners I've seen were easily spotted because they're yellow and stick out like a sore thumb.

Amazing garden and girls ween. I also have a special kush flowering and it is packing on frost and weight I've grown it a few times and love the structure, frosty buds and heavy Indica stone. I've had a few plants throw nanners bt only got a handful of seeds out of a dozen or so plants that grew them. I wouldn't pull them early unless u get more than a few yellow nanners and have younger plants in that same area.

Thanks J! So breeder info says 8 weeks which we are at. Running Doc's gear I've found you can let them go longer which is why I was thinking 2-3 more weeks but with the nanners and the very weak stems, I'm thinking I should chop soon. As for my special kush, she is starting to smell very nice, not as much frost as I would like and the buds aren't swelling as nice as her sister but if I let her go 2-3 weeks, I'm thinking each cola will be close to a zip since they're 12"-16".

Thanks G2! I'm liking them both each for different reasons. The money maker is like no other plant I've ever seen, pistil free, a good amount of frost with very dense heavy buds but weak stems and special kush has really strong stems and long colas and a great smell, if she fills in like I think she will I expect my best yield yet, somewhere between 5-6 zips.

Last night I plucked about 8 nanners but only 2 today. Only on the money maker, none on special kush. I'd really like to let money maker go for another week. They got OG drench tonight. I did a little more SCing tonight on my 2 money maker clones.
