Lowest is probably 7 or 8 celcius thanks. Got a visit from some rainbow lorikeets today. We shared a banana. Made me think of your edenHi stoned ape! I was thinking about this again today actually. I think if it’s warm enough they should have enough time before the days get too long. The overnight temps will be your main challenge I’d guess.
Do it so we can all find out if it works!
What are your overnight minimum temps through July?
And to my little Eden
If you do this, please report back here about how it goes!
Hey Age - thank you sir nice to see you.Hey Amy, Great photography and that spider, DAMN!!
it’s practically idiot proofLove that transplant method
Me too! Thanks D. Highly recommend it as one to grow. Super vigorous and good looking, like it’s Bubba parent!absolutely love the symmetry and the vibrant color
Thanks carcass I think so too.beautiful
Yes! And that’s first thing in the morning which is the time of day it’s usullay worst, so things are looking better there. I wondering if was perhaps also a matter of it just drinking super fast so not coping with how fast the small airpot was drying out. I’d happily grow the DDA and EM in these 3gal AirPots again, but I’ll use a bigger pot (AirPots or regular) for the next NLa from Seedsman I drop. It has potential for size i think.pretty darn close to perky!
Electric right!perky
me too! Won’t be long at all. I’m so nervous about that fat head it has!hardly wait to see the EM harvest.
Oh Amy!Update: Sour Bubba Transplant and Flip the Lights, Day!
Big functional day in the garden!
*All physical work was done by someone else. I get to do fun things like tell her exactly what to do and exactly how to do it and take pictures and sprinkle Roots! powder and mix up drenches and just stick my hands in the soil enough to feel like I’ve done some gardening
Pruning happened first thing. Oh - I do the pruning
I left the 3 healthiest and tallest little shoots in the middle to see what they do. I left lots more than that on my Bubba Hash last year and it all produced really well for me along with the main colas so I expect these will nice little mini colas . It was pretty dry at this stage so I gave it 1/4 cup of water on the top to hold it until afternoon when my friend and helper was coming over.
Then it was on! I am really happy with the roots

Reverse sandcastle method employed!
Dusted with Roots! powder
ROOT SCORING! There is no pic there that shows it. I scored the roots in 4 opposite places using a freshly sterilised and very sharp and thin razor. The cut goes from bottom edge of rootball and about an inch deep about 2/3 of the way up. This helps the roots bust out into their new space quickly.
New digs, back in the tent. I left about 5 nodes on each main branch. The grow-gurus I follow always recommend leaving only the top 3-4 nodes but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to do that yet. Maybe when my jars are full and I have a seperate cloning and veg area running, then I’ll be more relaxed for things requiring extra bravery.
This next one is aspirational... I’m giving them a good look at their neighbour DDA cola... 4 of those please!
We finished literally right on the 11hours since lights on mark so we closed the tent, unplugged the lights and I reprogrammed the timer for 11/13 lighting. Off to the races!
This morning it was having it’s own party! 5 minutes after lights-on.
Here’s the group this morning.
I honestly think that the Early Miss looks right on target to finish at 55 days (the breeder timeline). It could go longer but it has lots of cloudy trichome heads and I have a ton of indica in my supply so an early take on the Early Miss sounds perfect to me! I’ve booked my friend to come and do that in a few days.
So the next update will be bulk trichome-scapes and a harvest! Starting with autos is so fun
Sending vibes to all for a great day, or great night, or whatever it is you’re having
Oh yeah you do!Oh - I do the pruning
Me too, noice!I am really happy with the roots
Reverse sandcastle method employed!
I'm looking forward to that . #nolarfthen I’ll be more relaxed for things requiring extra bravery.
Wowza! This morning it was having it’s own party!
Thanks Luiz it’s the heaviest handed I’ve ever been. And I didn’t go in intending to do that, this is just what happened. It wasn’t a plan - I topped it and I trained the four new mains just how it seemed right at the time. I didn’t really think about it until the other day when I looked at it and thought ’well I hadn’t meant to kind of practically quad line it! (I know, it’s not a cord line can – it just looks more like one)love the prune job (and training) you did on Bubba.
Well I hope I can live up to your expectations one-day! But FYI my Bubba Hash had lots of smaller shoots left in the ’caldera’ and didn’t have any larf ...I'm looking forward to that . #nolarf
Wowza!
