Amy Gardner Of Eden: Perpetually Organic

I don’t have a journal, don’t think I would be able to keep up with the master growers on this forum. I grow 3 autos at a time, 2 crops a season, outdoors.

my EM has stretched out quite a bit, it’s over 3’ now.

Hullo Amy :passitleft: Stopping by to say high! Nice plant Xx! Just a quick look and well wishes and I gotta go! Stay safe and stay stoned

Lovely! That’s going to be a lot of bud :)

There’s all shapes and sizes of growers on this forum! More the merrier :D
quick look and well wishes and I gotta go!
Hi Fredwak :passitleft:
Well wishes to you too on this fine weekend :ciao:
The sun is coming back! :surf:
Thanks Felipe - happy solstice to you! longest night last night so still “in it”. It was well dark this morning!

Mmmm Sunday ... :passitleft:

Let's see if I remember what I was going to say...
Early Miss day 42
Seems fairly on track to finish in 2 weeks, smells like fruity pineapple
Looks gorgeous, and early!
Northern Lights auto continues to be twisty, with irregular leaf colouring and refuses to ever look perky.
Can't remember, but I'm glad it took well to the replanting!
Sour Bubba is looking good in terms of colour and sheen but also is prone to being droopy except for a brief period the day after watering. It also had a destress a couple of days ago (as LST was continuing)
I'm curious why you are keeping all the middle growth that, given it's lack of proximity to the canopy, will never attract the auxins to it. Since you're going for four main colas, I'd strip everything in the middle and move all that growth to the tops.
So it’s likely the “dusty pink” pheno

Update: Panama day 6
Cutie!
Bonus round for GenXers. What device was used to sift seeds?
I'm a baby boomer so I know! A double album until I got a college roommate who was a frisbee free-styler, so then frisbees. This would be in the mid-1970s. Though in the early 70s it never occurred to us to clean the weed, so we dealt with popping seeds burning our hair.
mostly I used a frisbee, grew up near the beach so it was handy. Otherwise my go to cleaning platform was a double album.
Sounds familiar ;).
have managed a few at 125 without noticeable motion blur
:welldone: Remember when we were younger and 60 was easy peasy?
When we were building the pots, one of them had the base-plate put in one row lower than it should be. At the time I didn’t want ot empty it and refill and I now distinctly remember saying “oh well, we will find out if it makes any difference”. Maybe I’m finding that out.
Never mind. Lots of discussion follows this!
Early Miss is 50 days from sprout and nearly done making me some fat little buds!
Still looks gorgeous, and early!
I think it looks superbly ready to explode with 4 huge flower-stacked colas.
See above re: Sour Bubba.
Northern Lights (right) continues to build upon it’s newfound perkiness.
Good save!
Super interesting that having the bottom of the pot slightly deeper would make a difference, but hopefully that's it.
Yes, my thought too.
“it’s totally fine, it just can’t stand up” (followed by the thought that that sounds a bit like me!

Nice to have you come by Shed :D :ciao:

So on the Sour Bubba central shoots question, I could’ve given a light pruning a couple of weeks ago but missed that window. I haven’t pruned it the last couple of weeks (aside from 4 central fan leaves) because it’s been a waning moon and I don’t like to prune on the waning moon, especially if I want growth to take off after I prune.

Literally tomorrow morning at lights on I’m chopping off nearly everything in there except 2 to 4 of those internal shoots which are a little bigger now. They’ll become secondary colas in the middle. I did my Bubba Hash the same way and I was really happy with how it came out. It’s very low maintenance.
I’ll also prune off the bottom third of the main colas tomorrow. Tomorrow is also flip day.

All this time I’ve been growing roots - that’s what I’m thinking about mostly up to this stage so I’m happy to have plenty of foliage and then just remove it before flipping to flower :)

I also have had too much to handle lately and am very depleted these last months. That’s part of why I use this method. It’s a very lazy and accommodating way to grow for good consistent results. I am constitutively unreliable - so the grow method needs to be as low maintenance as possible.

I’m super glad you found some time to spend on the Mag, and here :Namaste:

Hi Amy I think you could help with a question. I have a gorilla glue and black cherry punch clones I was growing indoors and want to flower them on my balcony. They take about 10 weeks from flip inside. Todat is winter solstice. Do you think they would finish outside.
Hi stoned ape! I was thinking about this again today actually. I think if it’s warm enough they should have enough time before the days get too long. The overnight temps will be your main challenge I’d guess.

Do it so we can all find out if it works!

What are your overnight minimum temps through July?

And :welcome: to my little Eden :passitleft:

If you do this, please report back here about how it goes!

:passitleft: greetings from the future...

... except to DD, who’s been there already ;):passitleft: :surf:
Okay I’m back. I’ve gotta say it’s easier to get to than it is to get back.
Spoiler alert.
It’s overrated. Still no jetpacks. (I want my jet pack).
I was reading about your garden tooling through some holograms on microfiche and found your garden! Eden becomes the stuff of legend, Amy.
