One of the things I love about this growing caper is being able to give people some nice buds. I just made up a little care package for a friend who the lovely other is going to visit for a few days in the big smoke.

I just found this while looking on the forums for something else... that triple headed branch I had, that is now cloned - or trying to be - that I was calling a triploid? Thanks to @DopyLemontree I now know that this is called a Whorled Phylotaxy... :D

Speaking of my clones... don’t know if they’ve rooted yet, but there is some new shoots appearing at the node spots where I removed the leaves... I have some pics on my computer... will share when I get it together to access them.
 
These are indica hybrids so the stretch shouldn’t be too bad maybe 100%. I’ve actually got them tied down pretty good and low so some stretching will be welcome. They are in my 2’x4’ so fitting four 13” pots will be a challenge but I think I can squeeze them. They look 100% better than before the daily drenchings.

You can get a small press and press them into little kief pucks. Or try freezing the sift then put it between two pieces of parchment paper and use a wine bottle with hot water in it to roll it out into hash.

I have a little pollen press that makes pucks but it wasn’t that great and its too hard to get unstuck, I need one with a handle or the fingers I had when I was 20.

I just broke off chunks and heated it, rolled it out a bit with a lighter, and then crumble it into joints. I’d really like to have a better method and make that a good chunk of that old school hash.

Next time I’ll try the hot water and wine bottle, great idea thanks!
