Amy Gardner’s High Brix Dreams

Just placed my Seedsman order for the July photo prize... :slide:

I’m testing out a 420 icon ;)

Panama was the first Ace genetics I really took a liking to visually and it has that CBG content that interests me as well - I’d ruled it out because of the outdoor flowering time limits I have... but with the tent ...

And I’ve been really drawn to the looks of the Bubba Hash in a few journals lately and I love hash, and I need good pain killing indica so it seemed an excellent choice - hope they’ve got it! I’m excited to try it... I can grow it outside this summer. :yummy:

:thumb::love::yahoo:yumm hash:theband::Namaste:
I know right!? I actually made a tiny spot of hash on the weekend using the quick dry sift method COnradino uses - through a very fine stainless steel coffee filter! It worked ... it’s not anywhere near full melt, but it was nice and hashy :ganjamon: Gonna try a larger amount this weekend

BD looks great in the after pic! I'm sure it will more than make up for the slow-down as it grows. It look really happy now :).

It does - the Brix foliar really helped to bring the fleshy phatness back into the leaves (new growth particularly) and yesterday evening it got a nice transwater dunking - done right this time! This is this morning :D

And this is after a little morning leaf tucking (I like to untuck them overnight and let the leaves be free ;))

There’s between 12-14 “tops” already so I dont need to do much except keep everyone in the light as much as possible and keep getting my watering right and I’m golden :battingeyelashes:

I am compelled to share the innovation I picked up at the tip recycle shop. It’s a display/ sale basket - bit bent and pretty rusty here n there but it does what I need. It lets me sit the pot at all angles while it drains and saves my arms from holding the pot to drain it (and saves the plant from the event of my arms giving out without warning!).

I was able to let it sit there (turning it periodically) until it stopped dripping completely which seemed ideal :thumb:

I’m stoked to have figured this out now, because there’s no way I could manage dunking more than one plant without it!

Because I do my winter farming in what is effectively my bedroom, I have be innovative about controlling water splashes. There’s a laundry tub on the floor and the plastic sheet is drawn up around it to catch splashes - it worked a treat!

This time it did that thing where the whole rootblock wanted to float right out of the pot! Like neiko talked about. I had to hold it down by the bottom of the stem/trunk. I did that until it stopped wanting to float at all - figured that indicates full saturation so is the time to lift it and drain.

Next drench with be a Growth Ionic :slide:

I was paticularly drawn the the SG bass in the background though :).

[edit: sorry Duggs I was right there behind you!]

Yah - it’s a Hagstrom. Has seen better days unfortunately and is now literally too heavy for me to play (I have a little half size that’s great!).

Im not sure if Hagstrom copied the SG’s or if it was the other way round.

My first E guitar (not bass) was an SG copy - grew up on Angus young! :D

Only a 10g was the plan Duggs! I don’t need it to be enormous. I need to keep it within a 2.5’ square ... so figured 10gal would do it. And I have outdoor plans for the other 10gal of soil I’ll have left...
Gotcha , sounds proper. 10 is lots then. She is a nice plant. Oh,..the love we give them eh,..daily .:passitleft:

She’s looking really great Amy! Love the trim and the training.
Very cool dunk setup, that’s what everyone needs especially for multiple plants. :thumb:
I know! I am formulating a design in my head now for a rack that allows up to 4...
I’m thinking a swing kind of thing that I can set on a lean in opposite directions yeah...? So hook it leaning one way... unhook it and hook it leaning the other way, turn the plants... repeat etc. ... nearly ready to draw something... :hmmmm::nomo::reading420magazine:

Yeah I saw that too. Is that an SG Amy?

Plant is looking good! :high-five:

It’s been cool to see the Brix goodness reappear after the rescue and the Brix foliar after that. The rescue drench resulted in some slight tip burn but I don’t think that’s too much of an issue. I didn’t think I made it too strong... it looked very thick though!
