I know... but I’m strong! I can do it. Besides - it’s like the magic pudding! I trim a ton off, and it looks just the same!loving your fake plant as she is truly stunning don't know how you can trim her.....

bit rough actually... forum distractions needed in middle of night (well, it’s 4am now, so I held off for a while...). Post outing/activity crash is the pits. I’ll take the boost to my mental and emotional well being though - just the physical aftermath is an a*hole 
bit it’ll pass - it always does ... and these days, maybe a bit quicker than it used to... 
Hey Amy! Sorry about the tent trouble! I would try to get it replaced, maybe they'll even let you keep the damaged one and you can diy it afterall. With my cheapo 4x4, I cover it with a dark sheet. I don't really care for or use the windows much but it is a nice feature of you wanna look inn without opening the tent. Let us know what Gorilla says. Tell em I said they should send you a new one and let you keep that one and throw in extensions for the hassle!

Well I know Gorilla will be fine with it ... I’m dealing with their Aus representatives (distributor and a retailer) and actually they’re both awesome. I spoke briefly with each of them yesterday and it’s all fine. They are happy I let them know, indeed, so that was a good outcome. I’m going to get the regular version I prolly should have just ordered in the first place. This one will have to go back, but maybe only the poles... dude said the skin might not need returning. He’s getting back to me (would save him some shipping and leave me a skin to play with further down the track). Now I just need to organise setting up yet another tent! Gotta call in a helper...
“3rd times a charm” should be the byline of this journal. Taking 3 goes to get the tent right, and 3 goes at the pruning to get that “right” too! And seeing as things come in threes, there’ll be one more thing that has to happen 3 times...

Well their distributor is! And he’s confident that they will and happy to take it up with them for me. They’re just going to sort me out and deal with the return for me

Running that 5x5, and trying to figure out how to expand. I like the 4x4 tents,...but what if I made my 5x5 the veg tent, and got a 4x8!?
Ugh.....decisions....

I think more space is good - and not just for the purpose of more plants... but air around them is good I think, and room to move around them is nice too.
Honestly apart from this quality control scenario the Gorilla tent is totally awesome in terms of ease of use, sturdiness, functionality, thickness and build quality in other areas. The Zips alone are worth it. IMO.
