Yeah, 8 g sounds a lot :) but there is only 10 g of trimmings, and 2 g of bud infused into 300 g of coconut oil. Doesn't seem a lot to me. So if I had to guess, I would say between 3 and 4 mg THC per gram of oil.

If we figure that the combine trim and bud are at 8% THC, then you're at 2.56mg/ml with an 80% efficiency rating for the infusion process. At 10% it's 3.2mg/ml.
 
I knew Shed :Love: would drop in with the numbers for you K! Sounds like you had around 23mg of THC, give or take... that’d put me on my arse! :eek:

I’m gonna try a ‘get me stoned’ dose over the weekend maybe ... could be dangerous if I like it! Just as well I don’t eat sugar or carbs much or I could get supersized on edibles if it turns out I like them. ATM however I’m struggling not to lose weight so a bit of weight gain would be a good thing ...
 
Some regular jello for when you want to put some on and some low cal jello for when you don't :). Of course, if you're like me and don't eat artificial sweeteners, the low cal jello is out!
 
I was just thinking about gummies... administration wise you’d get a doubling because the time spent chewing would get the buccosal absorption going, and then the conversion to 11-hydroxy through the digestive metabolism woth the rest. Maybe that’s why they’re so effective and popular...
 
Yes ... sugar free gummies... I have a stevia plant that makes some pretty sweet juice :idea: You have to be careful not to use too much with stevia though or it takes over. Sounds like a fun summer experiment.
 
I just made my first cannabrew using ABV. I took pics for the cannacoffee brewing thread that @BTzGrow started, but I think I’ll put it here first and then paste it in over there after.

I need some help with this too Shed... I think I may have just ingested too much... I suppose we’ll find out in 40-80minutes! :rofl: Or if I don’t manage to finished this post

Ok - uploading was being retarded on my phone so I’ll do it as attachments instead...
I took half a gram of already vaped bud (which auto-corrected as “fat butt” :D )

Some ground chickory (dandelion) root on the bottom..

The AVB on top of that (half a gram turned out to be about a teaspoon)

I actually topped this off with a little more chickory root. Then on very low heat to brew slowly...

Into my glass I put one small teaspoon of raw cacao powder (it’s a tiny teaspoon).

I mixed a little boiling water and the stovetop brew into the glass with the cacao powder to make a nice syrupy mix...

And topped it off with some hot milk (Soy in my case) and some more boiling water

It smells a bit like the nuttiness of the AVB and I’m sure I’m not imaging the very sight green tinge...

It’s pretty delish - but it ususally is when I make it without the AVB. I actually made this a bit strong in the chickory department because it’s a different coffee maker to usual, and I forgot.

Anyway, I’ve drunk it all now ... been at least 20, maybe 30 mins and I certainly feel something :hmmmm: ... and I’m happy ... smiling ... with a little tingling around my lips and face that I’m hoping is not some kind of allergic response to something (I have those seemingly randomly in recent years and we haven’t worked out definite triggers yet except alcohol - imagine if I became cannabis allergic :eek:) Ok that’s not happening Amy! :rofl: Certainly got something going on ... I wonder what kind of day this will be now (coming up on midday Friday here).

I think I can say it works ... it’s not as tasty as when I put my Afghani x Critical Mass oil into the same beverage though... that’s delish! But it is an interesting use for AVB.

About edibles, turns out the only people who use cannabis regularly and gain weight from the munchies are those who're underweight. Good news....you won't be super sized if you discover you enjoy the buzz. :battingeyelashes:

It’s the most beautiful and unusual plant. My partner says the leaves look like geranium or something. And the structure is insane it is only about 20cm high but it has 12 nodes already - incredible!

Thanks Gray - I’ll check I’m not inside the 2’ zone. I really hope it gets some length soon, I think it grea about half an inch in height overnight. I might have to hang my SweetSue inspired dangly things in there to give me quick reads on the height - one day I know I’ll kind of just be ble to see it, but for now I think I’ll install a guide at 2’ ...

Wait until you flip it and watch the buds fill out. Blue Dream is a dream to grow, beginning to end, and your use of the kit is going well. In a very short time you'll relax and let yourself go with it and it'll become instinctive. Then you'll more fully appreciate the magic Doc created.

Yep - I was pretty excited for the first brix... it was minute! The tiniest amount and 6or7 sprays with an atomiser and it was all done!

One of the reasons I really wanted to grow the blue dream first in my indoor set up is because it gets written about as being very easy to grow – so I thought that sounded like a good idea! not to mention all the smoke reviews and seeing it in your garden & in other people‘s gardens… I figured it would also be very popular and a good one to have around Christmas time when there’s never any pot around.

Yep it’s a happy day :slide:
