Aloha Grown With Sunny

Thanks beez! Aloha Tim! I was doing the opposite and feeding to much because my additional bloom boosters were throwing off my NPK values with too much “K”. @MrSauga got me thinking about it and before I encountered some serious toxicity and lock out I brought my feeding schedule down to more sensible levels.
Definitely good advice on the K. Me and @carcass have both burned plants that way.
I do get up to full strength on that MC pretty quick though, autos don’t have time.

Hell yeah it’s easy to do especially when you go down the rabbit hole of bloom boosters available now. Simplicity is key and I somehow for got that lol

I'll be growing the autos in Coots soil. Water only with the exception of a tea from time to time. I think I told you @Sunnyskies about the Garlic Sherbert plant I reversed. I've already harvested probably 500-600 seeds off the plant and have more to go through. I intentionally let this one self seed on top of my hand pollination because I wanted more seeds. This is the very best strain I've grown to date. Not a huge yielder but in the right hands (other then mine lol) I bet she could be. I cut down the plant 7 days ago and hung it in my closet with a little fan in there to move the air. It is nearly all dry as of this morning. Maybe another day or so and it will be ready to trim up and search for the remaining seeds. Here is what a sample dried bud from this plant looks like and why I LOVE it.

Looks killer beez! I bet the nugs are solid rocks. I’ve been seeing that GMO showing up in a lot of dank looking crosses.

This is the Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mint plant I am running. I got this and some other seeds from a lifelong friend a few years ago. He got them from a young guy who was working as a breeder for a large grow op in California. He sent me a handful of seeds of about 6 different strains. All of them so far have been top shelf. I'm down to just two of these Thin Mint seeds so the clone I have of the mother plant will be my next reversal project.

She looks gorgeous beez! The fall colors on her are fantastic.

With regard to autos I have a couple questions before we even get started. All the autos (maybe a dozen) were tall with "regular" sized buds. None had big colas like your autos produced. Is that a result of the training?

I bought some 12" or so long pipe cleaners to hold down branches. I'll be growing these in fabric pots so drilling a hole in the side of the pot doesn't seem to be a good option. How do I attach the pipe cleaners to the fabric pots?

Good morning beez! Good morning everyone! I use these for my training since they can easily clip to the fabric pot and they have a hole to run the pipe cleaner through to add or loosen the tension if you think you are gonna snap a limb lol I got boxes and boxes of these in my office for invoicing vendors and keeping paperwork organized.. who knew they work for growing weed too

I'm one step closer to being ready to roll. I filled my 3 gallon GeoPots fabric pots with some fresh Coots soil that has been cooking for 23 days (hope that's long enough) and left about 1.5 inches below the surface. I tend to overflow the sides when watering if I don't leave some space at the top. I got the pots in the tent yesterday and today I watered the center area adding just a tiny bit of mycos to the water. OH, and they did fit in those saucers afterall.

Hopefully in about 4-5 days when I transplant the seedlings into these fabric pots that area in the center will be moist and not still wet. Time to make some hempy (perlite) solo cups in which to germinate my seeds.

My plan @Sunnyskies is to try to be a day or two behind you. That will enable me to watch and learn and when my plants reach that same point hopefully I'll know what to do. SO, when are you planning to float your seeds? I germinate in perlite in solo cups. As a rule when I plant a seed in the perlite it sprouts on or about the 3rd day. Two days later I very gently transplant it into it's final pot. So about 5 days from start to small seedling. Since I have a good number of them I will drop 2 each of the Fat Sticky Gorilla and the Train Wreck and pick the most vigorous of the two. Let me know your timetable e 'oluʻolu.

Tent scrubbed and spotless....................CHECK
3 gallon pots filled with new soil......... ...CHECK
8 hempy cups filled with new perlite......CHECK
All seeds thoroughly scarified..................CHECK
Hempy cups soaked with sweet tea........CHECK

I think I'm all ready to get the show on the road.

Hell yeah beez! @beez0404 Freight day today so I was pretty wiped out by this afternoon.. couple doobies to the face to help with the sore back and a nap was definitely in order. It’s was hot one!

Gonna make some dinner for the family and then get those seeds planted! I plant directly into the final pot and put a dome over them to keep humidity up. I’ll create a post for all that here shortly!

Yessah everything stay looking cherreh my braddah. I just got back from a quick trip to Cali to check on my backcountry patch and all was looking good. Super Smokey kine though from all the fires that stay burning out of control.
sending majah positive vibes out to you and the Ohana. Cheeeee

Okay, I know I said I wanted to be a couple days behind you but I couldn't wait any longer! Germinating in these hempy/perlite solo cups gives me a much higher germination rate especially with tough nuts like the Trainwreck seeds. Typically once they are planted in the perlite solo cups they sprout in 2 usually 3 days and I transplant them two days after they sprout. So I should have seedlings above soil in 5 days. Very much looking forward to the learning experience. Thank you @Sunnyskies for not only inviting me to tag along and learn from you but for also encouraging me to share my experiences here in your thread. So this is where I'm at as of ten minutes ago. All the seeds in their solo cups with the solo cups setting on a seed heating mat. I'll report back when the first head pokes above ground.
