Sunny, Im going to look back through your Cream Mandarine XLAuto...mine took a turn a couple days ago going from lush to lighter green rapidly in a couple days. I have about another 4 weeks until harvest. Looks to be simply consuming fans for N, but, may be using too fast on a couple plants. I switched up to flower nutes and guano to finish. Will watch at this point.

Sunny, found where your Cream Mandarine XL was right about where I am today. Page 30, July 10th, 39 days from germination. You were just starting to see a “deficiency or gluttony”. Mine looked pretty close to yours, then went paler green in a couple days. I now have a sense of when to expect the fade later flower for organic soil photoperiods. My current plan is to stay the course I guess. I also swapped in my redder 4k bulb, so the color would be changed a bit from the different spectrum. The one in the back left is the worst. I did not defoliate one bit nor top, just LST.

Mahalos Professor!

Okay, I know I said I wanted to be a couple days behind you but I couldn't wait any longer! Germinating in these hempy/perlite solo cups gives me a much higher germination rate especially with tough nuts like the Trainwreck seeds. Typically once they are planted in the perlite solo cups they sprout in 2 usually 3 days and I transplant them two days after they sprout. So I should have seedlings above soil in 5 days. Very much looking forward to the learning experience. Thank you @Sunnyskies for not only inviting me to tag along and learn from you but for also encouraging me to share my experiences here in your thread. So this is where I'm at as of ten minutes ago. All the seeds in their solo cups with the solo cups setting on a seed heating mat. I'll report back when the first head pokes above ground.

Aloha beez! Brah I’m surprised you held out as long as you did! Once I got the kids to bed last night I got my seeds droppin and poppin. This is gonna be awesome my friend and I look forward to seeing our plants grow! You always welcome to share and cruz over here my Braddah!

Seed drop day!!

Indeed!! High there HH! Congrats on the New fur baby!! Severus is a wonderful name! I would have throw the name dobbie in the hat but I like Severus better! I hope all is blessed in Hybrid land with you and ohana!

This is going to be a good one to watch! Did you stick with your original list Sunny?

Aloha Lando! Stoked to have you along on this next grow journey! Yes the Original list of seeds is the same except I swapped out the Cream Mandarine XL since I already haze a fat jar and a half of that and I’m growing the Strawberry Cola from Exotic Seeds.

Yep I’d turn my fans off but I too like to live dangerously in my best Austin Powers smirk*

Aloha cr8! From what I can see on the new growth with your plants you are not that far off track my friend! Soil has a slower plant reaction time so no stress my friend you have time to readjust. The fan leaves are your first indicators but once you make your adjustments on your feeding keep a closer eye on the new growth and bud development. That’s where you will see if your renewed efforts are paying off.

I agree with you stay the course and if the issues continue to get worst from here a soft reset/feeding of just plain PH adjusted water would be my personal move before reimplementing my nutrient schedule.

Thanks for the feedback Sunny.

One of the reasons I like germinating in hempy/perlite solo cups is the ability to poke the perlite to the side and check on the status of the seed. I just dropped mine yesterday and already I'm fighting off the urge to peek.

I’m just keeping the humidity domes sprayed with water. Gonna give it another day before I go looking lol

I’ve never tried straight perlite for germination hmmm
Here is why I like it so much, @Pennywise The seeds are in a very moist environment as the perlite wicks up the liquid. But they also have a ton of oxygen in that setup. I learned the hempy solo cup method from Sweet Sue about a year ago and will never go back to paper towels and shot glasses. I won't say my germination rate is 100% but pretty gosh darn close since I started with the perlite. I have a product called (I think) sweet tea and I add 1ml of that to 1/2 gallon of water and soak the perlite a day before dropping seeds. I feel it gives them a little jump start.

Oh, and I did a little peeking ;)

I'm that little kid that couldn't wait till Christmas to unwrap his presents hidden in mom's closet. So you know I couldn't resist checking the seeds for taproots. As of a few minutes ago 8 or the 11 seeds have nice healthy taproots. All the single seed cups have taproots. The Trainwreck auto has one of two seeds with taproots. Neither of the Fat Sticky Gorilla seeds have sprouted yet. Both of the Blue Cheese Special have germinated. Pretty pleased with these results with this just the second day in the hempy cups. So as of right now I have 7 or 8 strains having sprouted. Another day or two and they will all be above ground so to speak.

I will give the Fat Sticky Gorilla seeds another day for at least one to pop a taproot. If that doesn't happen I'll decide what to do at that point.

I am considering taking the ones with taproots and transplanting at this point into their final 3 gallon fabric pots. Would you guys/gals please chime in with your opinions about this idea? It's kind of like moving them from paper towels to their pots I'm thinking.

Aloha All!

I hope all is blessed with everyone! Harvest pics of the Caramel Cream Auto from sweet seeds from the other day. Just been a bit hectic with my work schedule.

She yielded me 56 grams dry after de stemming. That puts me at 479 grams dry from 8 autoflower plants. I hit my goal at 1lb 1 oz on this run. Super stoked!!!

I pull 250 watts from the wall with two lights so 479 divided by 250 give me 1.9 grams per watt. I’m not sure if this Formula is still applicable with LED:hmmmm: as it’s what I used to use when I was running HID lights back in the day.

Anywhoo about to roll up some Alaskan Purple and work on a smoke report. Sending you all lots of love and positivity from Hawaii as always!

That’s awesome beez!! I have tap roots on everything except the QPAxGG4 cross. Seeds looks good and moist but she didn’t crack yet!
