Aloha Grown With Sunny

Congrats on hitting the target Sunny. My plan has changed somewhat but my 2x4 tent is pretty full now though I did lose one plant as a male. Your grow is pretty inspiring though and gives me something to aim for lol. I have an extra 100w to play with now as well. Like Penny said, The Caramel Cream looks great.

That CC looking tasty!

I haven’t had a proper taste of her yet but she is sticky!

Aloha Professor! I appreciate the kind words! It means a lot coming from all of you guys and gals as I draw inspiration from all of you! Such talented and knowledgeable growers here it’s hard not to be inspired!

I gotta get caught up on the land races in your thread.

:passitleft:
Hell yes! :thumb:

Great job, Sunny!

Mahalo Carcass! You called it in the beginning so thank you for helping me manifest reality lol.. I’m stoked I could bring 8 different strains in one grow to harvest fairly smoothly and still hit my goal. I’m looking forward to to seeing how this run turns out.

No rush buddy. They're not bad at all and I'm certainly eager to get the next round underway. I asked HH the same question but what do you think. 12 Afghans or 12 Himalayans?

I just read that you had hit your 1# goal your last grow! That is quite an accomplishment in such cramped quarters. I would of course love to match that effort but will be happy with what I get. Well, unless I get like 4 zips total that would not overjoy me. :laughtwo:

For me this grow is all about the learning. How and when to top and how to train autos. At some point I want to try some autos with no topping and just LST.

@Sunnyskies I have two of those QPA X GG4 in hempy and no action there. I will be selecting either a different strain or a couple more of that strain and getting them in hempy probably today.

I’m fascinated by the Himalayan’s myself. Those high altitude hash making cultivars have always been something I’d like to grow one day. That’s why I like a lot of sweet seeds gear.

Right on my friend! Glad we are both getting solid germ rates! I’m gonna give the sticky gorilla another day if not I’ll try germ another until I get onto go!

I've grown one and a buddy has grown two (Big Sticky Gorilla aka QPA X GG4) so I know they'll sprout and grow. I'll have to put perlite in another cup and let those two stay in the perlite. I have to see if they're going to pop and how long it takes them if they do.

Got word from Seedsman today that my auto flower order has been lost en route to the US. So they are going to send a replacement order. So no Neville's Haze this grow I'm afraid!

Congratulations Sunny!! 1+ lb in a 2x4 with autos, impressive to say the least! :bravo:

Mahalo HH! Autos certainly have convinced me that it’s possible to do what I intended which was to stack a bunch of bud up so I could take my time on a photo period grow.

I hope you are are having a blessed day!

:passitleft:

We'll be waiting for the report.

The AP made me take a nap! :laugh:She has some punch! Notes have been taken and I’ll post up the smoke report in the kickin back at Sunny’s thread.

@Sunnyskies I had a quick question about lighting. What schedule will you be using? How many hours on and and how many off?

I’m really looking forward to that one! @beez0404 I run 18 on 6 off from start to finish. My lights out hours are during the hottest part of the day to keep my heat/humidity balanced and consistent.

Right?- kicked my ass first time I smoked it...my own fault for starting with 4 hits....

I smoked almost a whole joint. When it hit oh man it hit hard. Total bobble head effect haha

That’s good weed then lol

Yeah brah carcass wasn’t kidding lol.. plenty thc in those buds.

I'm that little kid that couldn't wait till Christmas to unwrap his presents hidden in mom's closet. So you know I couldn't resist checking the seeds for taproots. As of a few minutes ago 8 or the 11 seeds have nice healthy taproots. All the single seed cups have taproots. The Trainwreck auto has one of two seeds with taproots. Neither of the Fat Sticky Gorilla seeds have sprouted yet. Both of the Blue Cheese Special have germinated. Pretty pleased with these results with this just the second day in the hempy cups. So as of right now I have 7 or 8 strains having sprouted. Another day or two and they will all be above ground so to speak.

I will give the Fat Sticky Gorilla seeds another day for at least one to pop a taproot. If that doesn't happen I'll decide what to do at that point.

I am considering taking the ones with taproots and transplanting at this point into their final 3 gallon fabric pots. Would you guys/gals please chime in with your opinions about this idea? It's kind of like moving them from paper towels to their pots I'm thinking.
Beez..autos? I soak overnight in a cup of distilled water in a dark kitchen cabinet That has under cabinet lighting...keeps them warm. I always have white bits peeking out after 24 hours. I then plant in solos if photo and this first auto grow into final 3 gallon pots. I have dropped 14 seeds and have 100% germination rate. I know this will not be the norm.

The first two have sprouted. Both of the Blue Cheese Special are ready for action. Had their helmets and membranes removed. The surgery was a success. Tomorrow I'll move them under a CFL bulb for a day and then transplant one of them into their 3 gallon GeoPot on Saturday. Should I top them or wait? :thedoubletake: If there is no action with the Fat Sticky Gorilla I may consider saving a seed and running both of the Blue Cheese Special. A cross of two Mephisto strains (Northern Cheese Haze X Blue Toof Special) it has great potential.
