Thanks Slow/Cult/OB - That's exactly what I was looking for.

I guess that I have seen so many references to all of the above pieces and parts without knowing/understanding the complete set up context, that I got confused (easy to do). I will be going with a sealed system (system = reduction in variables and an increase in consistency/reproducibility) yes I am a bit of a squint also.... haha.

OB - Yes that would be the smart way, but I only have 16 weeks in this space before I move it (wifeee is only so tolerant) so I have opted to go bigger, not biggest, probably not smartest either but well see.

I didn't know you were on a time schedule bro wow 16 weeks to build the room buy all the equipment you won't be able to start from seed you'll HAVE to start with clones it's gonna be close brother does cult no about the time frame? If not it may change his opinion. But if your decided then do it and do it well brother I'll be around watching get up your journal brother I can't wait. Be well

All good OB, the 16 weeks doesn't start till the first, and its more of a guideline than a hard and fast ..... I just wont be able to do any further turns in that space after the first go.... Next space will be ready by then anyway. I am going with clones first round though, just one less moving part.

Haven't really looked at strains - Anyone have any suggestions? Nooby-Jaun-ka-Nooby? Noob4daBoob? or better yet Boob4daNoob?

16 weeks is lots of time. Even from seed you should be done in 13-14 weeks start to finish. However i wouldnt waste time building a sealed room for 1 grow. Its a lot of work to set up and its more for longer term growing. Just set up a room with 4 lights and extract through a vent. Probs better way to do it as a 1 off.

Ive just been and pruned up the plants. I havent been as aggressive with the pruning as usual as these are sativa plants and they arent as rugged as indica dominant strains usually. Took bottom 1/3 of growth off, thats fan leaves, flowers and any small branches.

Plants are still stretching but looking healthy and strong. Day 20 of flower (12/12).

Tomorro the nutes will go on start of week 4 nutes which is:

Ionic coco bloom 1.5ec (+0.7ec tap water)
Buddhas Tree Advanced Meta boost 0.5ml/litre
Buddhas tree pk 0.25ml/litre
Advanced Nutrients Sensizym 2ml/litre

Hey cult in my flood tray should I use felt grow bag filled wit Coco like u do? I just notice that u r using top feed spike but I think I read u set it up due to travels n never went back to bottom flood feed. Is there a reason and if I do the same thing how would I do the flood schedule with Coco. I understand that it dries out faster so in turn would i need to add a flood cycle? Is there any reason u don't like the bottom flood method? Do u think it would b worth it to not only have airstones in the rez but also try to dial in airstones in the flood try? When I say dial in i mean it would have to b on separate timer to cut on and off at the correct times. Never seen it done probaby not worth it but adding more oxygen to the nutes cant bad? Ur girls r exploding in that tent. Cant barely see the back wall behind them!! Great stuff. And thanks for answering my questions it really does help!!

Heres a few pics of another small grow i have. This is just to grow plants to produce shatter. Again the strain is amnesia haze but they are in 12litre pots. 24 plants under 4 600w hps. 14 days flower (12/12).

Dandare how ya doing. Shatter is a form of concentrates that you would extract from flower. It also is called wax, butter, shatter, and and couple other names but it's concentrates and the name normally is after the texture of the end product. I think shatter is the best myself but m sure there r people that think differently. Hope i helped u out and the only dumb question is the question not asked!! Thats what 420 is for to share and gain knowledge and u can't do that if u don't ask!! Sorry to answer on ur thread cult hope u done mind. Grow looks awesome and I agree wit dandare we have different perception if small and big. But m sure we all agree that they look very healthy!! Growing more thighs!! Lol

Hey cult reading ur feed schedule u posted in this thread. Quick question if I was using Coco in a ebb n flood tray would u use ionic Coco or ionic hydro?

You would use ionic coco. Id go with pebbles in ebb and flow though mate. Yoi can push more feeds and more o2 in rootzone. Coco will work but pebbles are better.

So what ferts you suggest cult ? $$ is tight, but I want to start buying some of them now. And what do you suggest to keep the system clean ?

Id go with An ph perfect 3 part for veg and ionic hydro bloom for flower. But you could use ph perfect start to finish. I only clean res at the end of grow. I use sensizym to help break down any organic matter thats dead or dying. Much better to have a living res than a sterile one.

Micro, Grow, Bloom is the 3 part they might be sold single.
The hole AN linage is ph perfect.

Yeah look for the micro grow bloom. The 3 part is best. But if not the a+b grow and bloom will be ok.

So its day 23 of flower. Ive finished pruning all the plants. The sativas take a little longer to take off flowering and they are tall as hell for the size they were flipped. But there are flowers everywhere now and some of these buds will be as big as my legs. Smells really lemony already.

Yeah look for the micro grow bloom. The 3 part is best. But if not the a+b grow and bloom will be ok.

Hydro store is telling me that from personal experience with AN line, he admits they are good, but he's telling me the "complete brand) is better, and not completely organic, but mostly organic. So I drove home to think about it and consult with my teacher. That complete brand is only sold in hydro stores. Didn't realize how expensive it is to grow in coco !!
Other thing he's saying is the brick type coco, is not as good as bagged coco. The bagged stuff was 25$ for 13.5 gal. bag. So $25 every 2.5 pots is getting expensive for my world. With weed being legal in Ma. now, when will home depot have a hydroponics section ??
