There are lots of good base nutes but the AN 3 part is up there. Its all i use in veg now.

You def want bagged buffered coco. 25$ per bag is more than double what i pay!!! However you can reuse it if cost is a problem. I guess i take for granted that i can get what i like. Always better to buy big bottles or bulk buy if you looking to save cash. You could bring the cost of the product down by 50% or so.

For what you pay to grow in coco the extra weed and faster grow time will make up for that.

So i had a test run of making some shatter today. Ran 100grams of Amnesia Haze flower and 6 cans of butane. Got a poor return at 10grams. I have 2kg to wash tomorro into shatter so hoping i make a better go of it.

The blocks work fine but they usually unbuffered which can cause probs if inexperienced with coco.

The garden is looking really healthy but they dont want to stop stretching. They 5x size they were when i flipped easily. Going to be some good bud in there. Better result than last grow in this space hopefully.

Cult could you tell me if there's anything I could do to help my plants stretch I'm one week into flower and there's not much stretching going on!? I'm using canna grow and bloom I'm ready to introduce big bud next feed any thing else I could use? They're nice and bushy but I would like some height too

Nutes wont make them stretch mate. It comes down to the strain and light. 1 week into flower is no time at all and i wouldnt be starting a bloom boost 1 week into flower. Plants can stretch over 3 or 4 weeks or sometimes even longer. I wouldnt worry about it. Id ditch the canna base nutes and the big bud though. Much much better nutes out there. Use ionic coco bloom for flower with base strength of 1.5ec. For boost use advanced metaboost and buddhas tree pk.

Cheers I'll add the new nutes to my shopping list for when I've used these up. Big bud says to use it through week 2 to 5 of flower im 1 week into flower so I'm just starting week 2 am I reading the directions wrong I never quite understood how it's worded is it after two week of flower or begging the 2nd week it's quite confusing what it says

Sorry mate strains blues and I'm using 2x 600w hps/mh. Plants look very healthy but I remember my last run they stretched like mad I filled the scog I'm not going to scog this time because they've not stretching enough I'm starting to think Iv took the wrong clones and maybe it's haze I've got it can't be anything else has my pal only has haze and blues

Hey cult everytime me n my buddy blast in a tube wit butane i never get any great yield. If u got ten grams off 100 thats 10 percent that actually is pretty good. Hope u get better yield next blast but I will say what u come back wit is always fire!!

Just blasted 57 grams of flower and got 17 grams on the parchment paper now. Parchment weighs 6 grams so thats 11 grams of shatter. Will lose some more in weight as its still damp but 9 grams would be a good result at around 16/17%. Im new to making shatter so its trial and error til i get it right but going to start my big wash tomorro. I get sick blasting 1 tube full so it will be a long day tomorro.....

Was looking at pricing on Great White, ran across their "new" ORCA, any experience with it?

Looks like its a liquid version of the same thing?

I would video it bit i dont take my phone with me during the process. Its quite a basic way that i am running it until my extraction system arrives and very dangerous. Phone could ignite the butane. I wouldnt recommend to anyone the way im doing it.

We got 62.2g of shatter from 270grams of premium flower yesterday which is excellent return. We had an accident so we had to stop the wash. Will finish tbe other 1700g today.

Orca isnt new and its better suited to recirculating hydro and dripper systems. I much prefer the powder as it has alot more types of myco in it and i always manually water in the myco.

Hey cult good go wit the shatter!! Never seen yield like that but never blasted that much either. I know u r a busy person but was wondering if u could do like a quick nutrient list. In a way that I could see everything u use and purchase it. I have ur feed schedule bookmarked! I can always look on feed schedule but ur last post bout ur myco being powder instead of liquid. Hope m making sense and understand if to busy from what I read a lot of blasting going on. What kind of extract machine r u thinking of getting? I know ur nutrient purchase list would b invaluable to us growers!! Thanks for all ur help how is the alien feed grow going?

Mate the full list id recomend is in the nute schedule by name.

Been a long day today. Washed 1700 grams of flower ground down in a food processor and placed in glass extraction tubes. Ran 10 cans of gass per 100grams. Real long pain in the arse process. Have yielded roughly 458grams in total from 2000g but its purging now so may be a little less. Still a great return
I was aiming for 18% and very happy at 23%. I hope it wasnt a fluke lol.

Heres a 75gram lump of my 'Highland Toffee' was placed in a press and gently pressed.

Im going to Uk until christmas eve as i have some hospital appointments that i need to attend. I will get a pic update of the grow tonight. Then another update when i get back.

Took 6 hours for us to do the 1700grams and we ran 300grams yesterday.
