Alex's - SCROG - 620 Watt CFL's - Actual Wattage - Super Lemon Haze

no sir I would wait till just before lights on or right as it starts to spray anything.
Mold likes to grow in dark humid spaces:)
it wont hurt or kill your plants but I would try to not spray the flowers or buds. one of the natural defenses of the flower is the sticky icky we all crave. so bugs don't like that cause they get stuck in it and die. they like the leaf, stems and roots.
so spraying the flower or buds will only promote either rot or mold
:)2046:)
Welle as long as it aint gnna hurt:Hookah:
So if I make up a solution say one milligram inton an atomiser spray would it be best to do this a night when lights are off:circle-of-love:

I thought about doing the pepper jack freebie seed too but thought against it. Dunno when il use it. So iv got / slh and 1 pepper jack seed left now.

Hey Al did you ever try the water cup method reason bieng you find you are more likely to get it right everytime if it aint to late check it out on youtube under germinating ganja using the cup method :thumb: germination is the part I like least:loopy: but this ways always done me good 100% well apart from a seed that was clearly unwell

Wow i forgot to tell you how great your lemon looks!

Well here you go :) Beauties!

With germination i think i will do it in a jiffy directly next time too. I had so many accidents while moving the seedling from the towel to the soil, and they have more chance to get some light on the roots too. While the only advantage is that you can see when the seed starts up, which does not help the plant in any way i believe, even though it's nice to see.
Just let it sit in water for a while before.

:goodjob:But what is the jiffy method my friend:thumb:

I just put the seed in a moist jiffy, about 2-3mm deep in the peat. Position is important, root tip should point up, so the root can go its normal U turn and push up the leaves above ground while straightening out.
Then sit back and wait :)
And keep it wet of course. I don't see how it could be any worse then the paper towel - but i might be wrong, let me know then pls!

Well I sure am gonna try that out I already think its the best way that I have heard of thanx invi:Love:

I agree jiffy cubes are the shizzle but it just so happens I don't have any and I don't mind the paper towel :)
Maybe out of 40 seeds iv started on the towel iv had maybe 5 fails.
Agree tho jiffy looks best

You can also dig the seed only halfway in the jiffy, and put a little (2-3mm) soil on top of it. Sometimes it's easier this way, and the soil will be washed into the jiffy after some time providing a very light feed for the young roots. Of course no hot soil can be used, best to stick with seedling soil.

Yeah i had about the same fail ratio with that. But to have that only to see whats going on sooner... meh. Ill rather learn a bit of patience.
Have to admit a friend used this jiffy method as well, and he could not germinate any out of 3 Jack Herer seeds. Not sure why, for me the first popped and turned out to be quite nice.

And yeah nothing's wrong with the paper towel. You can go near 90% with it if you are careful.

I feel like I am digging myself into a hole here AMmm wots a jiffy cube :tokin: You are gonna split your sides but when I heard jiffy I thought of a lemon squeezie? so now I think I got the right end is it a small bit of rockwool in cube shape:wood::)
